No pets here so thanks. Should be a little easier with the hair in that I did not get a black? Of course with 2 TS shirts on order they re-release the cherry blossom indigo! Damn, must....re....sist!!!!!!!! .......and the jack indigo star is back as is the indigo pyramid. Gotta admit I really like that cherry blossom, especially as we're finally in layering season. I know a couple people around here were considering it, but I think everyone chickened out with the pyramid. The cherry blossom is awesome (I get compliments AND really confused faces when I wear it). It's such a loose weave I had stopped wearing it once it got cold... Hmmm...

Anyone have any opinions or fit pics on the sanded canvas mechanics shirt? I have no idea how "sanded canvas" will feel. I've been eyeing that Moss for sometime and am itching to pull the trigger on it with the 20% off sale code. Thanks! I concur with the previous comments. I have the Black, Moss, and Navy sanded Mechanics shirts and they are great shirts. They are TS classics IMO, probably a shirt that I would recommend anyone should have in their closet. DigDug described the fabric well, it's not too heavy...not too light...not uncomfortable. Go for it, they are great shirts and the Moss is a great color. I didn't know there was a navy! Man, I'm regretting not grabbing these when they were in the workshop with the 20% discount. I got a couple shirts from the hill-side on cyber Monday but if they don't work out I'll definitely get these instead. I would also love to see one in indigo.

I like it better than my black one honestly. Moss is my favorite, then a close second is the navy, then the Black.

My swift mills utility shirt is kind of meh... I'll probably have to resell it.
sleeves are too short, color looks kind of like dad jeans, and the seller cut the chain stitch run off. smh.

Yeah, that shirt looked underwhelming in the Workshop. I'm all for the little guys, but I figured there's a reason I've never heard of Swift Mills.

Dang, that cherry blossom was $98 when I got the restock notification.
$125 is an easy pass.

These new pants are going to be hard to resist. I love the color and the fabric. The only thing I don't like is the added expense of hemming as with a pant like this I would prefer not to cuff them.

I like it a lot actually. It's very indigo-saturated and I think it'll fade really well. But it's also super soft and easy to wear. I think the color is great because it is a different shade than most of our jeans and thus can be worn easily without the Canadian Tuxedo effect.

Anyone own the sea washed indigo tee? I tried one on today and it was super short. TS says it's only an inch shorter than the G shirts I own, but it was significantly shorter. Wondering if it was just under spec.

Thanks guys. Yeah, they really look like they would pair well with most everything, I was mostly concerned about the hand. The "feels like flannel" thing puts me at ease. I have basically been going back and forth between the sanded vs. the Yosemite. Thing is, I already have some shirts like the Yosemite in my closet, nothing like the Mechanics. I did not realize they had a blue and I don't think I could beat $78 unless it was used. This arrived today. It ends up having a hand exactly as described. A very nice shirt and I could see how one could buy all the colors. I do like the fabric a lot. Was quite excited until my wife told me that the 4 year old decided to take a fish knife out of the drawer and "try to open the package" today. My little genius stabbed both sides multiple times to the point where he bent the knife and had to be thrown out. Fortunately he did not hurt himself and it gave us an opportunity to talk about knife safety again. He has seen me take my knife out of my pocket to open packages but I guess he does not get the concept quite right yet. Multiple small holes in both sides of the shirt. I guess I should either work on my car with it or give it to an actual mechanic, you know, put it to the use that it was intended.

It's not horrible. Fortunately most of the damage was small holes that kindof blend in. Once I wash it will probably tighten up a bit and as long as it does not fray should be ok.
I guess it's just 'broken in' now. I mean seriously, it's supposed to be a work shirt so no different than a few stray welding holes that used to show up on my dads work shirts.

Haha back on topic. Still wafting on the maritime collection. I have a feeling the moss wool maritime CPO isn't gonna meet my expectations. Basically funny large pockets.
2. I think the whaler sweater might be better in the ash, I have it ordered in navy right now.
