Wasn't expecting their 20% code to work on the Workshop -- at $150 I just might cop the Project Jacket in BlackWatch, I mean that's not much more than the full retail price of the my Yosemite...
Jacket should last a long time!

Jacket should last a long time! If I didn't already have a couple of similar style wool jackets,I'd be all over this. I think it would be difficult to find something better than this for the discounted price.

Have yet to receive one of their products, however, I'm getting a bunch of stuff including their indigo canvas jacket (no side pockets oh well), and gambling on their telegraph jacket; the sizing specs are goofy though. Your actual cart purchase with the telegraph jacket is 44XL, yet the sizing chart is 46XL..WTF? Suppose I'll have to email to make sure I'm getting the correct chest size. So torn between the size too as I'm new to sport coats. My chest is 41.5-42". I'm 6' 175lbs and think I should go with the 47.5" and get it brought in??! Shizen. Edit: Well, the sizes to pick from are L42, XL44, and xxl46...wtf lol. How can they not match up with the sizing chart after so long?

I thought that if you are a 42 chest and order a 42 sport coat that the manufacturer adds 3-4 inches to the chest (typically) to allow for ease of movement and layering. If you order a 42 overcoat then it should have around 5 inches added to the chest to comfortably fit over a sport coat. Not sure if TS is crafting their jackets like this, but a 47.5 in chest seems too big for someone that is 6' and 175 unless you lift weights and have substantial pecs.

Far too big. I've been told to get a 42 if I wear a TS 42 shirt. That's the size I'd recommend to you.

Just received the Moto Flannel. Very comfortable at 9oz. Great for around the house (not as thick as the IH flannels, so not a shirt/jacket). Love the texture.

I got mine today as well (ordered it earlier in the week when it dropped on the site). Beautiful shirt, really soft, looking forward to wearing the hell out of it. I don't think the pictures on the TS site did that teal-ish color in the pattern justice--it gives it a nice pop without being too ostentatious.

Anyone have any opinions or fit pics on the sanded canvas mechanics shirt? I have no idea how "sanded canvas" will feel.
I've been eyeing that Moss for sometime and am itching to pull the trigger on it with the 20% off sale code.
Thanks!

Feels more like Flannel to me, not stiff like canvas at all. It's not to light or heavy. Easy to wear by itself or layered. Only complaint I have with it (and it took a dozen wears to notice it), it it has 8 buttons instead of the traditional 7 on a work shirt.

Fit is great. it feels like duck canvas, except smoother. think of duck after its been broken in. I ordered the black with the 20% off code haha

I have the Black, Moss, and Navy sanded Mechanics shirts and they are great shirts. They are TS classics IMO, probably a shirt that I would recommend anyone should have in their closet. DigDug described the fabric well, it's not too heavy...not too light...not uncomfortable. Go for it, they are great shirts and the Moss is a great color.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, they really look like they would pair well with most everything, I was mostly concerned about the hand. The "feels like flannel" thing puts me at ease.
I have basically been going back and forth between the sanded vs. the Yosemite. Thing is, I already have some shirts like the Yosemite in my closet, nothing like the Mechanics.
I did not realize they had a blue and I don't think I could beat $78 unless it was used.

I absolutely love my mechanic's shirt, but you should know that it is a pet hair magnet.

No pets here so thanks. Should be a little easier with the hair in that I did not get a black? Of course with 2 TS shirts on order they re-release the cherry blossom indigo! Damn, must....re....sist!!!!!!!! .......and the jack indigo star is back as is the indigo pyramid.

Knowing what I know now, I would have opted for the moss. Everyone who owns a moss one seems to be apeshit over it, and I'm guessing it doesn't show pet hair and lint (yeah, it's a lint magnet too) like the black. But the black one is definitely tits. Definitely. It's a cool shirt, just pick a color and buy it.
Also, the cut is rather slim in the stomach area, so be mindful of that if you like beer and carbs.

I have 3 of their shirts ATM and they fit well. The short sleeve one is a bit trimmer in the stomach and your suggesting that this one may be as well. I ordered the Moss with the Black Friday 20% off. If it's too tight I'll just swap it for the cherry blossom!

I know a couple people around here were considering it, but I think everyone chickened out with the pyramid.
