that sucks DigDug i wondered if the pockets were actually off or if it was simply how the shirt was laying (the entire left side looked lower than the right) the top line of my jacquard dot pockets look misaligned because of the flap on the one side...but the bottoms line up fine.

I had the same thoughts (is it designed that way). But I'm going by how the bottom points of the pocket aline (or don't) and how the Railroad stripe shirt (very similar look) pockets do aline. I think I'll keep it the way it came. I'm not sending it back and don't trust any local tailors.

It would seem it was designed that way.

I've broken my left collarbone a few times and it sticks up about half an inch more than my non jacked right one. If the pockets were misaligned the other direction that shirt would actually work great for my goofy body. Have you considered breaking your right collarbone, not letting it completely heal and then breaking it again? This is exactly what I was going to suggest DigDug. I think it's the most obvious solution but hey, do whatever you want man. That pocket would/does bug the shit out of me diggy. I would break my collarbone if I were you.

A mountain bike, a wooded area and really wide handlebars is a good starting point.
In an eight week period, my dad, my sister and I all broke out left collar bones. My sister hit a post getting onto a freeway in a light rain. I wadded up my mountain bike. My dad won this round, he crashed his Beechcraft Duke into some piñon trees a few miles from the airport after someone topped it off with jet fuel. A tree came through the windshield and got him in the shoulder.
A strange phone conversation with my mom, 'your dad was in a plane crash, but he's okay'. The best part of this story is that there were three folks in the plane, they'd eaten in Santa Fe and flown out. My dad had some carne adovado in a take out package. It's shredded pork, simmered in red chile. When the plane came to a stop, the pork had migrated into the lap of the dude in the back seat. He inventoried himself and saw what looked like a huge gaping wound and freaked out. It took a while for my dad and his friend to talk that poor guy down.

Ok, just dropped off some GChinos to be hemmed and was wearing the TS shirt. Asked if it was a big deal to fix (it shouldn't be but had to ask). OoooNoooo no big problem says The sweetest Older Korean woman (of course after what was done to my G WorkShirt I'm not sure) Told them the shirt cost just under $100.... "Ooooo Mister Big Spender" , just don't tell my wife and please make it look right

I broke my helmet and taco'ed the front wheel of my bike. My doc said I'd be good as new in six weeks. Five weeks, six days and a few hours later, I rode across a major intersection to the bike shop to get my front wheel trued up. I pulled up on the handlebar to go over the curb into the open front door. Wouldn't you know it? Collar bone let go, I took a sharp left and my unhelmeted dome slid down the window. I walked home and went back to the ER. Waited nine weeks that time and got a huge lump in my shoulder as a small monument to my stupidity.

my dotted one has pockets misaligned too. i think that was the style for the shirt. i will say that my left isn't quite as high as yours though...
the shirt's amazing overall, really happy with both the fabric and fabrication.

I could see it being made that way. But I think it'll look best if the bottom points and the stitching going across just below the button line up.

You should not ride bikes anymore hopefully bentin got the crashes out of his system. it seems that whenever i have a nasty spill another one (or two) is never far behind...then the slate is clear and i'm good for a while. my last was the first nice day after some nasty rains in dallas...i was (stupidly) heading into trail tunnel at 21mph and noticed that the tunnel was filled with (wet) mud and that two riders were entering from the other side, but were riding on my side to try to avoid some mud. i laid my bike down to avoid running full bore into them, slid 1/4 length of the tunnel...while the lady kept riding and decided to use my head as a speedbump. cracked my helmet but luckily only had a few minor cuts/scrapes. bentin...now i'm craving carne adovado...i may have to make some next weekend.

I've been wearing mine off and on since receiving it on Saturday. I never even noticed. No one else has either, so I'm not too worried. The only thing that I'm noticing is all of the random loose strings coming out of the button holes. But, I don't care. I really, really like this shirt.

@david, are you still in Dallas? I saw red chiles in Tom Thumb this weekend. I expect that at Central Market or Whole Foods, but not Tom Thumb. No Hatch other green chiles, but it's a start.

jjflash's jacquard dot ( fit pics, same thread ) has the same alignment. Definitely misaligned, doesn't look as bad in person as DigDug's does on the internet if that makes sense. I will say that even though it's the bottom of the pockets that doesn't line up, somehow it's the flap making the top of the left pocket higher that exacerbates the problem and draws your eye to it. I'm fine with it though.

They look thrown on there. They arent straight either. It can only be designed this way. I have a hard time accepting it.

I assumed that it was designed this way and that's why I didn't order it. The pics on the TS website have pockets that are clearly not aligned. They may have been going for the "I shovel coal on a steam locomotive and my wife makes all of my workwear" look.

As much as this made me laugh, I honestly think the coal miners wife would align pockets better.
