I like the jacket, and I like the pants, but not really together. Unstructured, casual jackets sure look better with jeans or chinos. The pics of the espresso jacket sure look better without the Garanimal look.

I think I'd be all over that fabric if it was in a shirt.

I think I'd be all over that fabric if it was in a shirt. Absolutely. But I'm going for it anyway. Expand my fabric horizons and all that.

9oz G super lights and the silk blends are all I need for summer weight jeans. I'm taking drstrange advice and holding off wearing shorts. Well as long as I can eventually it I'll be 95 and humid.

If so, what is your G fit and what corresponds with that from TS's Democratic fit? Nevermind, I'll have to pass. Inseam is all 36" regardless of the waist. I don't like bothering with hemming.

So I chose the 33 Democratic (34.5 for TS vs 35.5 for G).

As of this morning I was getting the same fit guide (in different files) regardless of which I had selected. Then I ran out of time and interest.

Ah okay, lemme know how it turns out. Should be interesting. Or really terrible. But hey, I was a kid of the 70s and 80s, I've worn terrible pants before without shame.

Hey guys, do these chambray pants stretch like denim stretches? Do TS pants usually come in on spec?
Also, I would have thought that the slim fit would have a lower rise, but it's the regular fit that does.
Pants sizing is hard.

TS offered the Navy Maritime Jacket again, and hopefully my order for the 38 size went through. Going 38 everything so far, and will adjust accordingly when I receive the orders.

Nice, my TS Maritime Jacket in Navy shipped. Can't wait! I love mine. It got a lot of wear this last Winter, but will be relegated to my wool storage until the fall. Very classic shirt.

I just hope 38 is my size. I'm sure, knowing East Coast weather, there'll be opportunities to get a few more uses out of them until the summer.

I wear my wool CPO quite often. Just make sure you have a good lint removal device!
I'm still tempted by the olive twill shirt!

Anyone have any opinion on the lightweight chambray pant. Im new to TS and am curious about both that fabric (re shrinkage) and the democratic fit. Cant seem to find rear rise measurements anywhere....thanks for any info or comments

Both we not TS. I did email TS about the shirt shrinkage and they said the usually shrinkage is to be expected 3-7% depending on care. So I would say it will shrink. The recommend a mild warm wash and air dry.

I noticed the brushed twill offerings are not that close to being funded. According to TS, if they don't make it by a good amount, they won't go into production, and refund you. I wonder if its because they are 9.5 oz, and people are thinking Summers coming? I hope they make it, as although it won't get worn much in hot weather, these look like killer twill material.

I have a TS selvedge chambray, and it did not shrink one iota ,even with hot wash, and dry.

It's a great spring-fall shirt. It's a camp shirt for outdoors adventures!
