My 20oz Leftie Looms hit 5 months and I've been wearing mine daily as well. Also a great denim, the best in my collection. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the Iron Heart denims as long as you find the fit that works for you.

Ended up paying $117 shipped for the ihsh-21. I used 600 rakuten points and 500 yen off coupon. Also they didn't charge my the tax. Woot! $117 is Gustin prices. Hey, I was curious which store on rakuten did you purchase it from? Can't find the XL anywhere, Thanks brentkuz Vari shop I bought the XL from. They may be out now. I'll check now for you. Cheap money. I did get wacked a $3.50 foreign transaction fee from my CC company.

IHSH-96 Waffle Indigo Shirt. Anyone have one? Thought some of you guys had gotten one.? How's the sizing? How's it wearing (more of a 3 season Fall/Winter)? I'm thinking it would make a good layering piece come winter. I'd have to pay $275 (ouch!) Rakuten had it way less But not in my size. Is it worth it?

david2403 these are all sewn up and on their way to IHUK from Japan as we speak so they should be dropping real soon. Not sure if they'll be available on Rakuten though.

It's live now. I'm not convinced, as it looks too RL for the brand and the price. Next to even the 7oz pinstripe, it just doesn't have the same substantial look. For $35-45 more you can get a class, heavier IH shirt which looks worth every penny. Or maybe I just need some enabling

So I went All In and bought (so much better then "Backed"!) the IHSH-96 Waffle shirt. Thinking it'll make a good layering piece or on its own. It looks like once they are gone that's it, no restock.

I don't really dig the scrunchy fabric but I like the pattern, the fit of the Western on the size guide looks great, and those snaps are awesome. I'll probably pass though.

I've got a Filson shirt made with similar fabric. Yes out of the dryer the HBone scrunges a bit. It does need to be ironed, which takes it out. I love the Fabric. Its a nice alternitive to a chambray.

Just a heads up, Brosephs... I was worried this is the route they would go, which makes me care far less about how good their product is.

I wouldn't say that... There are MANY brands that can't be bought "3rd party", and it's not always a bad thing.

It's CRAZY how loyal the IHUK customers are..... Like, they know about Rakuten, and totally ignore it.
IHUK exclusive items are worth the premium (Sparingly), but for me the standard IH items will always get purchased from here.

I'm gonna grab a few last items off rakuten I think. With this change gives me a reason to buy from one of the other 60 Japanese repro brands and not iron heart I guess.

Giles apparently has a lot of say with Iron Heart and has been taking a beating recently sales wise. No wonder he may be getting a beating sales wise. 100% mark-ups, no 20% VAT refund, you wonder why...? Fine if they want to limit access by curtailing retailers. Consumers are nowdays much better informed about the cost and true value of Japanese denim. It should be harder for western retailers to keep up if they insist on their crazy pricing policies. Well, so be it, I will also look at other brands. You can't sustain a business when there is so much competition out there just by placing barriers and limiting distribution so you can keep your inflated prices. Not a good business model in the long-run.
