Hi all, couple of questions! 1) I see lots of love for the jeans and the shirts, but not too much for the truckers. Why is that? Cost? Style? Or me just not noticing the love? 2) Also, would the truckers get indigo, like, everywhere? Thanks! My apprehensions about the truckers is that they just look too darn boxy. Aside from that, I'm sure they're great. I have contemplated getting one and starting immediately with a machine wash, though

I think you see the focus on the jeans because because they absolutely excel in every facet of heavy denim. Noone produces better heavy denim.

I know you guys are huge into different Indigo fabrics, but Indigo doesn't really do it for me. I have G Zimbs and G Super Heavies, but that's it.

They have black, and non-fading black. Aside from they, you could get amazing indigo with contrasting wefts.... Purple, cobalt blue.
Color is not their schtick, per say. They focus on amazing fabric texture, and phenomenal dying techniques that produce some banging, well worn jeans after while.

According to the fit guides, they taper way more than the shirts do. Maybe they just look boxy because the models have their truckers unbuttoned?

Guys.....this is seriously not good. I was almost hoping that I wouldn't be happy with my first pair of Iron Hearts that I just received but unfortunately for my bank account (and fortunately for my wardrobe) I am extremely happy with them. Couldn't be happier actually. So this has lead me to browse for another pair for the near future and I have just discovered that they have a 21 oz Black and a 21 oz Greyxblack denim. Seriously??? This is not good. I pray that Rakuten does not have these. The GreyxBlack is tonal stitching but I think I'm ok with that considering they are Iron Hearts and they are 21 ounces. That's sick.. 21oz GreyxBlack would make me slowly unsheathe my credit card from my simple wallet. Man..who am I kidding..I have my credit card number and details memorized. Just don't link it, brah. Do you hear me?! DON'T LINK IT!! devastitis, they have black and greyXblack...,remember? ?

Day 2 with the 25's.
Buttons were so easy today I'm shocked. No issues.
The 37.5" inseam is a bit much for me. I like stacking but maybe I need a few inches taken off.
Hips are my struggle maybe it's my fat ass. Thighs seem to be coming around.

So for those that are in on the upcoming IxI Loombreakers, which cut are you guys going with? The 634 or the 666?

Ickes - which style do you purchase from IH and what thigh measurement do you need? I ask, because I can't find a fit for my thigh and prefer a slimmer leg opening.

jray, the cut you want is the 633, which is a variation of the 634 cut. It has the same top block dimensions but tapers from the knee down. Unfortunately it's only available from Self Edge in the US. Wish I could get the Loombreakers in the 633 cut - that would be a must have release.

mrono - thanks Man! But I should have been more specific. I meant that I can buy in Japan. it seems the 633's are only available from selfedge which is too much $ for me

jray, mrlono is correct. The 633 is the cut that I have and unfortunately that cut is only available at SelfEdge. Right now they only have that cut in two fabrics (21oz Indigo and 20oz Loomstate IndigoxGrey Left Hand Twill). There is a pair of the 21oz Indigo for sale on this forum right now actually; selvedgestyle.com/thread/696/iron-heart-633s-self-edge. This is a smoking deal if this pair will fit you but unfortunately for me the seller had them hemmed so they are too short for me. The word is that the 633 fit will be made available in more fabrics pretty soon but like I said, only available at SelfEdge but for me I don't have a problem paying the US retail price for these because the fit is so good.

Guys, I went looking for the order form for the IH Loombreakers but can't seem to find it anymore. I know they're not out right now but I thought they were taking pre-orders. Does anyone have the link?

The last batch of 666s is too tight in the thigh and I don't believe they have the 777 cut on Rakuten yet. The 634 might be an option but the cuff opening is a bit large I believe.

Funny how the 634 seems to be the Iron Heart cut of choice in Japan. Looking through what's available on rakuten it seems like there are only three choices in the 666 (19oz lefty, 21oz, and 25oz).
The 634s look pretty baggy in fit pics I've seen. The measurements seem to support this.

Thanks ickes! I submitted the form but don't know what, if any, response to expect. I think they're still a few months away from release, and I haven't seen any feedback on how many peoples have shown interest.

I can measure icks - but i would say the hem is no bigger than a straight gustin - its big, but fine with boots

Can anyone give me some insight into how much shrinkage I can expect in the 633S 21oz? It says in the description to expect .5 inch in the inseam. Anyone experience shrinkage in thigh knee etc? I can make the pair work that I'm looking at and they might be better with a little shrinking.

He knows every Iron Heart fabric very well and he will get back to you within a day in my experience.
