Oh yeah and anyone else notice the prices on rakuten keep dropping vs US dollar. When I first started checking out the 25ox were 274.xx now they are 266.xx Oh, I noticed. It is the lowest Yen vs. Dollar exchange rate that I've seen in 5 years of watching prices. I still can't get over a price of $266 for 666-XHS. If I recall correctly, these were $495 at IHUK not so long ago but that's not entirely a fair comparison... Might have to bite the shuttle loom and buy them.

After reading this whole thread I want a pair. Found the 19oz lefties at Rodeo Bros that look great but they need a re-stock. I know it has been asked but does anyone know how often that happens? Thought I had posted this, so sorry if I did and seem to have lost it. The efficiency with which the people on this forum can take newcomers from "I WOULD NEVER PAY MORE THAN $100 FOR JEANS" to "$240 seems totally reasonable for a pair of jeans" is truly astonishing. <3 you guys.

And I really want the n1 deck jacket. I am not paying $750 if it goes on sale I'm all over it. I'm either lazy or horribly inadequate at finding this thing, can someone post a link of whatever the hell this is?

And it's a huge drop from 2012.

A lot of us followed the same path to here. My 9 month old Gustins had a crouch blow out, waiting on a lawless order and now that I know I will be wearing these jeans almost everyday I feel justified in spending a little more. Really like this board and how passionate everyone is on a subject most people would find a bit insane.

That is a really great shirt. Pictures don't do it justice. The pictures truly don't do it justice. Can be dressed up or down. Thick but not too stiff. The fabric has such an interesting texture up close.

Picked up that IHSH-07 today. Crisp, stiff, and in mint condition with tags. Really love this shirt. Fit is perfect. Also love the orange stitching: This is easily one of my favorite shirts and I picked it up for less than half retail. Today was a good day for my closet. Looks great and at a great price. Glad you made it out alive from your meeting.

Man, even a year ago I would have said, "$250 for a pair of jeans!? You crazy." Now? $250 for a pair of Iron Hearts? Sweet god, grab 'em now!

Just received my first pair of Iron Heart jeans. 666S-21oz.
These are the heaviest pair I've owned, so this is new territory for me. But damn, they are impressive.
A bit tight right now (thank god I didn't go with the 33 rather than the 34), but the denim itself is very comfortable.
The thigh is, as many thought based on measurements, pretty small. I've got thin legs so it works for me but if you enjoy leg day at the gym and rush to the squat rack with love in your eyes you will probably struggle with this cut.
Funny enough, the one thing that stands out to me is the hardware. Awesome copper colour and just feels... tough. Probably sounds ridiculous to some but it is miles from what I have come to expect on a pair of Gustins (not an attack just an observation.)
These also feel like they are ready for a serious beating. They'll be awesome for riding.

A bit tight right now (thank god I didn't go with the 33 rather than the 34), but the denim itself is very comfortable. Excellent stuff. They'll definitely loosen up nicely with wear. I found even five or six days saw worthwhile movement. Totally agree with you re. the hardware. I seem to recall seeing a number of posts with people talking positively about Gustin's hardware but, to me, it just doesn't look right at all on their indigo jeans. I works great on grey, black and (to an extent) brown pairs, but just looks odd against dark blues to my eyes. Which is made all the more confusing coming from a company that seems to insist on using tonal stitching for just about everything.

25oz comes in 2 cuts - 666 and 634 but strangely, construction details are not the same in both. Only 666 has lined rear pockets, sewn in waistband and selvedge fly.

Oh boy - I just bought the Oni's. Looks like we're all getting into the more expensive stuff. Does this mean our tastes are maturing? Or have we gone a bit crazy?

Ickes - I thought it was the 666s that had the tight thighs?
