I may be the odd guy out here but prefer a straight leg. that's the great thing about denim. Wear it how you like, loose, straight, skinny, there's no wrong way. Come on tax man! Send me my money! I like straight and slim fits but I don't do skinny Oh no me either. Too old and I'd feel very self conscience, but then I'm conservative.

I've noticed vari and rodeo both restock quickly. They have 36's in stock. I wish they would get some 634S-19L in stock. Haven't seen those in ages. that looks like a nice fabric

The heavy IH on Rakuten is basically the same price as a heavy (23 oz or beast) Gustin. The boys at Rodeo Bros have already shipped my jeans that I ordered last night.

The skinny jean trend really isn't a big thing with japan heritage brands. The iron heart 555 is similar to a Gustin slim but it's only sold at IHUK Yes they call them Super-Duper Slim but are not even close to a skinny jean especially in the rise. More of a medium rise with a slim leg. I have been on the watch for a deal on a pair myself. My SexiH07 are in between slim and straight fit. I like them but have come to like a smaller thigh and cuff.

Guys.....this is seriously not good. I was almost hoping that I wouldn't be happy with my first pair of Iron Hearts that I just received but unfortunately for my bank account (and fortunately for my wardrobe) I am extremely happy with them. Couldn't be happier actually. So this has lead me to browse for another pair for the near future and I have just discovered that they have a 21 oz Black and a 21 oz Greyxblack denim. Seriously??? This is not good. I pray that Rakuten does not have these. The GreyxBlack is tonal stitching but I think I'm ok with that considering they are Iron Hearts and they are 21 ounces.

That's sick.. 21oz GreyxBlack would make me slowly unsheathe my credit card from my simple wallet. Man..who am I kidding..I have my credit card number and details memorized. Just don't link it, brah. Do you hear me?! DON'T LINK IT!!

Whew..you're right. I looked at the sizing guide, and it seems to skip from 34 to 36, and I'd be in the middle for waist, but like a 32 for everything else. Saved myself $385 with the hemming. But that's dangerous..I have to stay out of this topic. Back to the poor man's topics of Gustin and LD.

Damn...I pretty much am damn near sold on the Black 21 oz Iron Hearts; www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-634s-blk.htmlThe fabric looks effin great. Plenty of white weft popping through, contrast stitching, good grainy texture, and they are freaking 21 oz! Damn..This isn't good fellas.

Why IH is so comfortable/awesome(in a quote!): "Iron Heart has a symbiotic relationship with all areas of its production from the choice of the extra long staple cotton that gives the heavy denim such a soft handle to the leather patch that puts the finishing touch to a pair of its iconic jeans(R&H)." Quote from here: rivetandhide.com/index.php/brands/iron-heart.htmlahh..that explains it a bit. I was wondering if mine being a left hand twill has anything to do with them being so wearable as well. Mine are more comfortable than a pair of new Heavy Americans right now. They are stiff, don't get me wrong, but ridiculously wearable right now considering they are 20 oz Loomstate. And the patch...I didn't even mention the patch on mine. Easily the coolest patch I've seen on a pair of jeans thus far.

I swear I need to hide from the Gf if I buy any iron hearts. I'm too damn honest and tell her all the things I spend money on.

She thought Ih was always self edge prices and nearly flipped her shit on me.

I'm going to buy 666's from rakuten not sure if it's going to be the 19 or 25oz really up in the air. The "original" 18oz on the IH 666s is an amazing denim. Don't rule it out! I like it so much, I bought 2 backup pairs Here's a pic of a couple of mine, with some G's and a Roy for reference. Photo is untouched, with no flash. It's pretty damn close to IRL color - as close as I could get with my iPhone. Left to Right: G King Zim 18oz (never soaked or worn) G Zim 15oz (soaked and worn ~50 times) Roy RN01 (Soaked and worn ~50 times) IH 666s (Soaked twice, worn ~150 times) IH 666s (cold soaked once, only worn a few times) This pic shows a pretty nice range of indigos. The G Zim 15's show their slight green cast in comparison here. The King Zimbs will obviously look different once worn and soaked, so not really a great representation of them, but I haven't had time to get them hemmed and into rotation. The Roy's show their slightly purple cast in this line up. They are a fantastic pair of jeans! Highly recommended (any Roy). Then, there's the IH's. I love these. They are my favorites of the way too many jeans I have. For the 18oz 666s, I have a 3rd pair that's a back up to my back ups. That's how much I like them I could live in them 24/7. Perfect weight, substantial yet amazingly soft, and they mold wonderfully to my body. This pic shows a decent evo of the IH 18oz from new to broken in.
