Sounds like a sizing issue, not a weight issue.... Yeah, the 777 are a bit slim for how I've used them (at work where I do alot of bending/kneeling). I have other brands in 20+ oz but the denim just never seems to full break in

If you are doing this:
" im pulling up my belt/jeans way to frequently."
Then I suggest the waist is too large not that the denim is too heavy.....
IMO Iron Heart 21oz selvedge denim, is one of the easiest denims to break in given the way it is constructed

Reckon I snagged your/last lg IHM-22. Apologize Giles. Now appreciate your desire to snatch one. This is perhaps the most impactful piece to grace my closet. Magnificent.

In related news, I finally got my mitts on this IHxSE typeIIIBSP od. Freakin' love this jacket. Sadly, can't wear it for a couple more months disheveled when you gonna get on the typeIII train, bro? Do you not like denim jackets?

Haha, it never gets old. You run with it for a while. That's quite the torch to carry... The easy answer is just to not buy anything because you're overpaying by 20%. Sucks, a few things have been really tempting but I'm an accountant and work in international finance, so I just can't do it.

That's quite the torch to carry... The easy answer is just to not buy anything because you're overpaying by 20%. Sucks, a few things have been really tempting but I'm an accountant and work in international finance, so I just can't do it. You gonna let him tell you what to do? You should buy two! I might not be an international finance expert, but I stayed at a holiday inn express last night (no I didn't), and I say "go for it!" (insert photo of thumbs up guy here) Just make sure you get the right size, the kind that makes it to where your belt keeps your pants up! I am so confused by that. Isn't that what a belt is for? I don't weigh the same every day or every season, so I just thought everyone got pants that fit a little loose and wore a belt? Today, I am on the fatter side and am thankful for military web belts with infinite adjustments. Am I mixing threads here? Answering more than one post at once? Multi-tasking! Furthermore, after seeing Giles post something at some point, I finally became interested in this "ironheart" craze. Commenting on this random board really grabbed my attention. I have an international finance trip to Tokyo in March (no, it is a class on facilities engineering to fulfill a requirement to remain gainfully employed...not really "tokyo" but about an hour train ride west). If I can get out of whatever work is there early enough to hit up the shop, I might give it a whirl. Yahweh knows I don't need more jeans, but goddamnit...I want to buy direct in Japan because I like the thought of saving money. I am an American! I didn't "spend" $200 on jeans...I "saved" X# of dollars. Who doesn't like saving money?! Selvedge denim, man...to think, back in 2013, I was sitting in a cigar shop wearing levi's from Costco and heard a guy talking about freezing jeans. I was intrigued. They told me to buy american jeans. Now look at me, after midnight, rambling about buying 21 ounce jeans. I almost miss the days I had two or three pairs of jeans I got at costco for $30 each. Those days are gone...that version of me is dead. Lord Gustin killed him. Also, I know now that if I don't buy a pair of Ironhearts, then Roman wins. NOT ON MY WATCH! Oh boy, it is late here. Have a good sunday and I hope your fades are sicker than an american on Obamacare! (OH! I made it political, too! Hit all of the bases. Except I didn't reference Ciano Farmer...until now )

What are you talking about?
If anything we are poking fun at the IH circle jerk.

At this point, said accountant(s) (enthusiasts included) could write the "VAT" off as a mental health expense.

In related news, I finally got my mitts on this IHxSE typeIIIBSP od. Freakin' love this jacket. Sadly, can't wear it for a couple more months disheveled when you gonna get on the typeIII train, bro? Do you not like denim jackets? Sweet score bro! Kinda went all in on the CPO route vs the type I, 2, 3. The length was always a factor and for whatever reason the slight stylistic differences just didn't sing to me. But modified would be the way I'd go for sure--pockets and length are nice. Actually tried on Tanuki's type 2 (I think that's what it was) at Blue Owl when checking out their new PBJ collabs--f!@king epic btw--and liked it way more than I was expecting to! The fit, color and style was very impressive--dammit now Im remembering how awesome it was! Why can't you layer your new modified under something warmer, untill the Spring? Just too much bulk, I assume?

Yeah, knew they invented the vest for a reason! Still man, love to see some pics till then. Plus it gets too cold here, thus making it impractical. So, I have to wear my Stay Puft Marshmellow Man parka + vest + flannel. The denim jacket will have to wait til Spring

"Let him tell you what to do" What are you talking about? If anything we are poking fun at the IH circle jerk. oh, it was said the best thing to do is not buy any of the denims from the Iron Hearts. And I was just saying that you should do the exact opposite just to spite anyone telling you how to live your life. It was only in jest. You can let people tell you what to do if you want. Buy jeans, don't buy jeans. It is ok. You can even buy selvedge jorts. stovallandyoung.com/product/1985/I do not understand why that company produces zipper flies, though. I don't know about you guys, but I definitely look down upon anyone with zipper flies. And they cuffed the jorts so you could see the selvedge. Dudes wearing these monstrosities probably button the top button of a shirt without a tie.

So easy to layer: tee+shirt+CPO+my own stay puff marshmallow jacket 😂 I wish the outer layer was an N1, but sadly the accounting didn’t work out for this winter.
