what did you order today from RB? I ordered the 07, the 13 in black and the 127 in purple. I had a few others I thought about grabbing (and probably will now), but since I woke up and got on first thing and the green 127 had sold out in my size (super bummer greens my favorite) I was like rushing to get the purple 127 checked out cuz I need to get a sniff of this aspero stuff lol. I know, I know, "a whole...nother...level." lol I feel pretty confident in IH now that I have gotten something that the previous owner said they tried to shrink and it still fits me (142). nice pics. there are also greyxblack 130's available on RB up to XL (not sure what size you are)...another great shirt...like it really needs to be said at this point |

Also the IHSH-13 and IHSH-21 are still available on Rakuten I think. Great buys. both black and blue fabrics are awesome. I'm considering buying the 13 in blue and I wanted the 149 but it's gone in both colors. It looks like RB got raided today! Do they restock often? |

if there are any IHT-1600's left in Rakuten world I would jump all over those too. Those are awesome and one of those items I will double up on when IHUK gets their next supply in about 4-6 weeks. That was kind of a sleeper item for me because I really wasn't expecting much when I bought them and I wasn't super excited about it but at the Rakuen price I figured what the hell. Now that I have them I love them.

It's hard to say when they're losing their "license" at the end of the month. Historically they have, but it sounds like ih gave them the finger for selling to riff-raff. |

You will no longer be able to buy IH products off of Rakuten at Japanese prices come the end of March I believe it is. So honestly it's still a bit premature to be rushing right now but it looks like a bit of a frenzy has been created recently as items have been flying off the shelves over the past day or two at RB. Maybe it's a result of our chatter on the forum...who knows??? |

I think the frenzy of buying is being created because no one knows if they will be restocking up until the end of the month. I know I would rather buy the gear from Japan for a fairly large discount over the alternatives. The thing is, even at Rakuten pricing, they are still turning a decent profit, or they wouldn't sell for what they do. IHUK insists on marking up the same products, and adding VAT, and forces other non Japanese vendors to do the same, or no IH for you. Its their prerogative, and it is what it is.
I could be off base here, but my assumption is that places like RB will suffer the most from this, because my feeling is that all of those that currently buy exclusively from Japan, will not then move to the alternative and pay the huge markup. I'm just hoping that someday down the road, if there is enough push back, they might loosen up the policy, but I can wish in one hand, and shit in the other, and see which one fills up first.

Yeah...well to use the old cliche, it is what it is. All I know is that I love the gear, there is no equal (that I have found anyways and I've tried the Buzz Ricksons and Sugar Canes..) and the customer service is top notch. I hear what you're saying, but if I based my purchases on whether or not I agreed with the business practices of a company and thought they were unethical or used any means necessary to make a profit well then, I probably wouldn't buy much of anything.

madmoses RB's system is rock solid; there will be no confusion. But it is always sketchy navigating new waters, so I don't blame your approach, just trust this isn't their first American rodeo!
