Really hoping to score the 157. Like Ickes said it is a flannel on a whole...nother...level. Personally I think I will really dig the longer sleeves on this cut...I see limited talk on the IH forum on this besides one guy saying it's softer than his other UHF or something -- is it thicker or heavier since it's a CPO rather than the standard shirt, does anyone know? I live in a colder weather place so anything to help me justify some IH purchases more is fine by me. I'm hoping I fall in love because I also want a "return of the purps"/ombré or whatever -- and a green buffalo uhf. No it's not any thicker although it did feel a touch softer for some reason. I had a Burgundy in my possession for about a day before I sent it back for a refund. The color didn't look right on me and the longer sleeves were too long for me. I like longer sleeves but these were too long. The Purple Ombre is awesome. Also..not sure if you saw over on the IHUK forum but Giles is bringing some more 33's over from Japan and is overdying them. He said they should be there in about a month. I asked him yesterday if they would do another run of the 33 overdye and today he's making it happen....very cool for customers to have that kind of interaction with a company IMO. Their customer service is really on a whole....nother....level

That was an incredibly fast turn around. From ickes bringing it up, to Giles asking H, to IHUK receiving the product 1 month later. Never before heard of interactive customer experience. Love the community/enthusiasts being part of the process.

Love the community/enthusiasts being part of the process. It is cool...the "what do you think we should make?" is awesome and an idea I've never seen any other brand open themselves up to. Well I guess TS somewhat does it with their email polling but that's a bit different. I have to say though, I feel sorry for Giles sometimes imagining him sitting there reading through the bajillion different suggestions he gets from everyone lol. Seems it would be overwhelming at times.

Got my IH score number 2...I couldn't even wait until the 142 came in. Found a sweet IHSH-21bk in the wild and I threw an ultra ball.
Woo! Let's drink a beer! Is this the point I "officially moved on from Gustin"?
Ickes I'm already 3/4 sold on the 33 OD, I'm hoping this OD chambray really speaks to me.

The black 21 is a bad ass shirt, I think you will love it. The blue 21 is also bad ass.

Coming Strong out the Gate! awesome score man; was it from IHUK's for sale section? ebay. I'm going to have to start watching the forum there though. It's probably time to make an account over there as well. I still have a ways til I can challenge the mighty addicts of selvedgestyle. but it's been a good first week.

Adding OD to existing stock (with a decent sized pool of customers clamoring for it) vs undoing permanent ink (I wouldn't be interested if their upcoming Cordura Camo jacket had the print) Low hanging fruit, I guess...

Giles just said the Overdye 33's are going to be here in 2-3 weeks now.
Also, looks like they have gotten the 170's in but I still don't think they are going live till Monday.

I believe I had asked if there was any chance of a next run without the silk-screening, and was told no in no uncertain terms. Now, that may have meant there will never be another run of them, but that wasn't made clear, which Giles is usually pretty open about (since they use it as a marketing device on their site). For me, it's not about having the branding, even, it's that I would feel like a poser running around in a jacket with a motorcycle graphic on it when I don't ride a motorcycle. It's like getting into your Volkswagen wearing Ferrari gear head to toe. I love cordura, though, and would love to have a jacket made of it.

One of the coolest patches there is yinzer... And I'm loving the 633 cut. It's a very good "adult" slim cut. I didn't know I was getting a cool hidden knife pocket either. Also did not know there was selvedge along the fly on the interior. I'm very impressed.

I noticed that knife pocket in photos and am jealous its not on the ODs but agree that the double fly selvedge is an awesome little detail.
I'm surprised more brands haven't ran with the hidden knife pocket idea. I get not disrupting the classic look, but feel like it can be done discretely enough...

Ickes (or anyone else with experience) care to chime in on the 14oz denim they offer?
Good and breathable for the summer? Much difference in feel or weight than the standard 21oz?
I can justify the XHS variants for later in the year easily. Not sure if it's worth it to get a 14 oz pair, I've been known to be persuaded in the past though on these things lol.

Ihsh 33 633S-OD Wesco the denim shirt goes well with the 633S-OD. I don't think I could pull of a denim shirt personally but your combo works

Its funny how nice of a tool the timed photos have been; what I may think looks good in one or two mirrors, ends up gets tossed out when I see it through the naturaly lit lenses.
