Anyone looking to pick up one of the Crazy Plaids when they come out? The jury is still out for me.

I really don't think it will too difficult to get one. I don't know if it's just me but shirts don't seem to be flying as fast as they did before the price increases.

so the corduroy indigo western with diamond snaps is pimpable. Does this change things for anybody? I think it definitely makes me consider one.

I don't know if it's a faux pas to buy it from Rakuten, and then send it to Gosport for pimping......

No Chatter here about the Corduroy Western!? www.ironheart.co.uk/shirting/ihsh-161.htmlLooks to be a nice alternitive to a flannel. I've started to wear (just got cool enough) one (forgot what brand) and find it very versatile and comfortable.

But I'd recommend having a corduroy shirt in the wordrobe. I I don't see many guys wearing them. So they stand out without being to different. Not sure if I'd want a dark blue. Seems like it would only go with a well faded pair of jeans.

Navy/Indigo works with black, khaki, grey, brown, etc. one of the most versatile colors. And I typically avoid it.

has anyone had a Gustin Japanese Blackwatch Flannel before? I really wish Gustin shirts on the sides fit me. Sigh. Or Wolf vs Goat was as big as Gustin. They're offering better stuff than Gustin. How is the JP fabric compared to other brands like Lands End, J Crew, Uniqlo Bonobos and the likes? I have Iron Heart shirts but not the Blackwatch. Would like one though. Looks nice. IH fabric really is all top of the line. The construction is outstanding also. Great customer service. You really can't go wrong except for spending all your money.

I heard good things about IH's flannels, but $300 for a button down shirt? I find that impossible to justify, especially since I am a college student and I could buy a pair of good MTO boots from Indonesia for that price. What's so good about the fabric they use? Mind describing it? Also, has Gustin used their fabric before?

I did hear IH had freaking RICK OWENS' favorite flannel.

RB has the Ombre shirts up, and they are going like hot cakes, well the larger sizes are. I did notice when they sold quickly out of the Buffalo Check larger sizes, they restocked within the week.

Think my first piece will be the 634S-B which I think is restocking this month. Where are all the OD shirts? Their error in sizing/purchasing the 99 crushed my soul.

I really like both, and it would have been a difficult decision if the coupon still worked. If I didn't have the 127 grey black and the 101 BB, I'd probably have bought both.

Liked both also, but went with the blue/black. I've got a charcoal CPO, and a couple black shirts that when it comes down to it, just don't wear as much as other colors.

Mind describing it? Also, has Gustin used their fabric before? If you feel that you can't justify paying the price for their products then you probably can't be swayed just by me trying to describe them to you, you will have to just try them on your own. That's how it was in my case anyways. but like Winterland said, the fabrics they use are all top of the line. Also, almost all of their fabrics are proprietary. There are a few exceptions but I would say that easily over 90% of their fabrics are made for them. You will not find them anywhere else. The main thing that you will notice about most of their fabrics is the weight. They use very heavy fabrics for the most part and that can either be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Their patterns are also extremely well done on their plaids IMO. Very unique color combinations and patterns that just almost always look fantastic. The biggest thing for me I would say is that IH shirts are the only shirts that I have found that you will look at 5 years down the road and it will still be relevant, look just as good as they did the day they came out. Most other brands I will look at a shirt maybe 2 years after I bought it and think why did I buy this? It just doesn't look good anymore, it looks dated. IH stuff really does stand the test of time IMO. now this thread has been officially hijacked
