for the new board/thread structure, would it make sense to just have a single deals/steals thread since these things (sales and codes) are so temporal? when you have a new code, etc. just post up the brand/site and the code.

Yes we were trying to do that. It was like that in the first place. When we first set the boards, topics up we did not quite have the hierarchy correct. It is a little confusing until I found a post in the help forum about it. I will try to get it set up like that again if possible. Done. They are on the upper left. |

Hmmmm...I might be confused.
I was thinking it could just be a thread vs. a whole forum with boards for each brand. But I guess that thread would have to live somewhere and there's not really a place for it in the current hierarchy.

Can there be buttons on the bottom of a page to advance to the next page in a thread? Currently, it seems we have to go back to the top of the page to advance to the next page when reading a thread. Not a huge deal, but would be better.

Not a huge deal, but would be better. No, you don't have to do that. Breadcrumbs are at the top, always. We all missed it at first |

As mentioned you can change the forum theme. It doesn't show in the default theme. I believe we can add it though. Will check out. |

I see our 2 weeks free of advertising banners is up. We'll see how much it bugs everyone before we decide what to do. Unfortunately nothing is free as the saying goes.

I see our 2 weeks free of advertising banners is up. We'll see how much it bugs everyone before we decide what to do. Unfortunately nothing is free as the saying goes. This site is the best thing that's happened in a long time.. I can live with banners! Great job to the admins and mods. I can live with banners no problem . . . the one thing that i can't deal with, though, are the highlighted words that you accidentally roll over and a popup appears with an ad . . . do you know if that happens as well? |

the banners aren't terribly annoying, i haven't noticed any inline context ads yet...but that doesn't mean they aren't part of this site
