Wow. Great price and nice denim. Normally I would jump on this. However, given the quality problems I've had with my recent orders and the very long production times, I'm not willing to bite. I'm too recently burned to try LD again.
Maybe they could make a boatload of these jeans and sell them Gustin "Stock" store style, so people don't get so annoyed at waiting 4+ months only to have something that needs fixing. Make them available in common sizes now. I almost don't care what they come out with until they fix their business.
Edit: I'll pay the Iron Price premium and get known quality within a week.

It's nice that they actually have fabric swatches to accompany the offering.

That indigo fabric looks stellar. www.ra-denim.com/23-oz-japanese-indigo-mens-selvedge-jeans/REALLY nice looking - and at 23oz. It's like a Double Double "animal style" at In-N-Out. Or, spending an evening in a nice hotel room with a couple Victoria's Secret Angels and a bottle of Lagavulin ....oops, sorry, got carried away there for a moment. (or DID I? ) If Gustin had this, even at a higher price (probably $197), I'd back it in a NY second. Because I'd KNOW I was getting it, even if at 4 months. That being said, I'd be lying if I said I'm not tempted by this and the 24oz ("22 - 28oz", actually) loomstate unicorn denim. I still haven't invested a single penny in LD (My Wife invested something like $59 for a Montana for me way back in Nov, during their Black Friday sale). So, I could risk ~$150 for a pair of each at 50% off, and maybe be very happy about it by this Xmas. I'm not saying I'm gonna do it, but yeah ...it's tempting. Even knowing everything we all know at this point. Buying from LD is akin to the old saying, "like a blind man, in a dark room, chasing a black cat which isn't there". Well, that's not fair. More like "a blind man, in a dark room, chasing a black cat". Because hell, at least the cat IS there. And eventually, the blind guy is gonna catch it. Probably. Maybe. Ya know, the whole 100MonkeysWithTypewritersInfinityHamlet thing.

one thing that set LD apart from Gustin initially was the mention of the mill ... not that I could make any difference between Kaihara and Kuroki, but the fact, the clothes are traceable makes them attractive for me as a (at least wanna-be) conscious customer .... meanwhile there are more and more offers appearing, which are just "Origin Japan" and the like which is a step back and disappointing ....

Temped on both of these. Waiting for my first pair of LD jeans to arrive so I know my fit.
