Starts 5/1/15 goes for two years. I'm sure you guys have heard of it.
Kinda surprised Gustin didn't put out a special pair for it like say iron heart does.

I did see this on the IH site. Haven't really seen much about it anywhere else. Hope it is run better than the Gustin contest.

You basically pay an entry fee to take part in a competition. They have a forum to load updates and pictures. Winners get some sort of prize.

2013-2015 prizes were free shirt or jeans of your choice from rivet and hide, special gift from bybeatle, 32oz naked and famous tote bag, a belt from I forgot who. This year looks to be even bigger. It's pretty intense and seems to be for someone that concentrates on one pair of jeans for a long time. Generally speaking here we like multiple pairs for multiple types of outfits. They have threads on super future, style forum, iron heart and I think a few others. The competition is run by Gavin/Megatron who is an iron heart forum member and the owner of NoKipple. The HWDC is basically a construct for IH and other brands sold by Gavin and his friends. That's also why the IH HWDC jeans are called Mega Beetle Busters. As a rather amusing side note: this guy HATES Gustin and goes around saying that Gustin is all made by immigrants/non-citizens in sweatshops with absolutely no proof in favor of that view. Why? Supposedly because of something that happened on DenimBro and also just because he hates the people who like Gustin (I.E. many of you) and wants to get revenge on what he sees as Gustin’s aggressive marketing scheme “redefining men’s premium wear starting with denim ”. Other than that I’m sure he’s a decent guy though.  Personally, I can't imagine giving a shit! |
