I went through my clothes and I like them...there are some that I like more than others, but nothing that just gives me a good feeling when I pull it out of the closet or whatever. In all seriousness, I do smile almost every time I pull these out of the dresser or dryer or whatever. The scooby sleep pants I bought in 2003 at Wal-Mart in Pierre, SD: I was on the 2 year training program for work where they moved me to various sites for 2 years ( around CO, SD, NE, and ND). I just drove from Colorado Springs to my new office at Lake Oahe in South Dakota. It was my first night in Fort Pierre, SD and I drove across the bridge to Pierre, SD (fun fact, Pierre is central time and Fort Pierre is Mountain time. They both just use Central time except the bars in Fort Pierre so they can stay open for another hour) and found a Wal-Mart. I bought these and they have been with me on my travels since then. If they caught fire tomorrow, I would be ok with it but whatever.

@rex looks like you and I are the only ones who have a favorite piece. I'll have to check out WallyWorld for a pair of SpongeBob PJ's

You own it or want it? If you own it, how's it wear, more like a shirt or a jacket?

If I had to pick one its an icebreaker wool hoodie. Warm but lightweight. Over a thermal is perfect indoors, add an appropriate jacket good for outdoors. DigDug I had the scout jacket last year but the fit didn't work for me, but the material and colors are nice. #2 = supreme heavy flannel shirt #3 = scotch and soda CPO #4 = RRL indigo dyed cords

You own it or want it? If you own it, how's it wear, more like a shirt or a jacket? I sized it up to wear as an overshirt. Got the XL and it's awesome. I figured with those side seam pockets it would be wasted as a regular shirt. I'll throw a henly or a regular waffle knit shirt under it and it works. Downside is I look like a smurf if I wear a dark indigo pair of jeans with it. So my N&F Midnights are right out. Ok, so that doesn't really stop me. #nerdfashionrules

Favorite thing in my closet is my Activist stretch fleece pullover from Patagonia, and it will be celebrating its 20th birthday pretty soon. It has been with me through high school, college, and my whole adult life. It has been with me through six different states and one foreign country that I've called home. It has been relentlessly abused on camping trips, fishing trips, skiing trips, drilling jobs and other field work. And it hardly showed any signs of all that history until this past summer when some enterprising moths put a few little ventilation holes in it for improved breathability. I think they add character. I was overjoyed when Patagonia resumed making the Activist pullover after about a 15-year layoff, and I ordered a new one to help baby the original through its golden years in hopes of postponing the day when it finally gives up the ghost and has to be retired. The new one is nice--I even got it in purple again--but it doesn't have the zippered chest pocket like the original. Major demerits there. Even if the design and construction were identical, though, I'd still probably reach for the original nine times out of ten. Damn near every year of my life that I can recall with reasonable clarity is a part of this shirt, and there's simply no substitute for that.
