Thrifted two identical pairs of these. Brand new with tags. I don't know much about Levis so I will attach photos. What I do know. levis 505 - 0217 XX on tag small e appear to be raw but sanforized. Non-selvedge made in the USA!       |

brentkuz, I know that the XX on the tag indicates a Shrink to Fit (unsanforized) pair. I'm fairly certain that all STFs have the XX, at least every pair I've bought has.

Yea, I'm pretty sure if they are raw, and starchy, they are STF.
edit : After looking at Ickes post, they just might be sanforized.

They have on the tag "shrinkage controlled" I was pretty sure the XX meant raw.
They are def unwashed and judging by shrinkage controlled they are sanforized.
What's the age on these? Made in the USA and the 505-0217 leads me to think they are Older. Plus the tags don't look current.
