Hi guys. It's fair to say half decent quality boots and shoes are my thing, so I thought I'd share most of my collection with you.
Clockwise from back left: Crocket & Jones Islay; Trickers Stow Suede; Trickers Stow Anilene; Iron Rangers, Hawthorne; Grenson Fred; Wesco Boss 16"; Lennons Derby Black; Lennons Derby Burgundy; Iron Rangers Amber Harness, Grenson Sid, Trickers can't remember. I also have Wesco Jobmasters on order and should pick them up in NY next week.
Here's what I consider to be the best quality ones, except for the Wesco - The Trickers and the Crocker & Jones. For me, it's interesting to compare the Trickers and Grenson shoes. They're basically the same style, but the Trickers is in a different league entirely compared to the Grenson, so much better quality.
Finally, here's a close of my two William Lennons Derbys. They're handmade in the UK to your own specs (these have custom soles, colours and linings) and only cost £175 or about $280. I see them as better quality than the Iron Rangers.
If anyone has any questions about comparisons, just let me know.

Great collection. I still want to get a pair of William Lennons someday. I was communicating with them thinking about placing an order then I found a good deal on a pair of Whites semi dress and then a pair of Redwing Beckmans

Great collection! Thanks for the insight on the Lennons. I am going to seek these out. I found a great Italian boot retailer as well that does custom boots from 500 Euros and up who puts them on eBay periodically for much less - this is a much easier and more economical version.

Here's my new Wesco Jobmasters straight out the box. I like them a lot and they certainly draw some looks here in Edinburgh. I don't think Wesco is distributed in the UK, so I picked up these and my long Boss's on trips to the US this year, where I felt the price was low in comparison to quality. I also saved a lot on international shipping, duty, tax and charges.

Don't have a pair but great choice. I think Wesco is under-appreciated, especially compared to White boots.

The pride and joy of my footwear collection... Rancourt & Co. "Blake Boot" in Shell #8. My first pair of EXPENSIVE boots/shoes, and obviously my first pair of Shells. These boots have been comfy since day 1, and they are gorgeous! the pic above is from the first time I wore them (with my Gustin Japan Heavy). Since then, I've treated them with with Obenauf's Leather Oil and Heavy Duty LP, because despite what everyone says about Shell having tons of oils impregnated in to it, the leather was obviously dry, and the crazily excessive welting drove that point home to me. Below is a picture taken after the treatment. They are notably more "dull", as seen in the first picture, but you can see in the second one they can still take a shine.

You've every right to be proud of them, they're stunning! My Birthday gift to myself next year will be the same in Black. My dad taught me shoes should be before any other clothing purchases. I always try to save up for another pair of grail shoes before buying any shirts or bottoms even IH. I would rather wear $50 Gap/Levis outfit with Alden shell boots than IH shirt & jeans with RW. Just my buying philosophy.
