Welp, City got one back and it ended up 4-2 but a solid victory for United. Sitting pretty in third spot. I'm a little worried with Carrick limping off at the end so we shall see what his injury is all about.
Great victory for Man U.

City shockingly bad lately.
In MLS news, OCFC and Kaka thrashed us on Sunday. Seemed like PTFC slept in and went to brunch instead of showing up for the match.

Suck it, ManU. Hopefully Spurs have a little extra cash laying around.

Anyone watching the Women's World Cup? The Canada/Switzerland match yesterday was great to watch. I'm hoping Team USA will step it up cause I don't think they looked like the number two seed in the group series at all.

Good lord, now Man U has the Pig Sticker and might still steal Kane? They really are the Yankees of EPL.

Good lord, now Man U has the Pig Sticker and might still steal Kane? They really are the Yankees of EPL. Fantastic signing for United! This is exactly what they needed. I have always loved Schweinsteiger. It would be cool if they get Kane as well but they really need a world class CB. The Yankees of the EPL?? Not even close...that would be Chelsea or the blue side of Manchester if you ask me. Since LVG took over they have made a few big signings..I'll give you that...but traditionally Man U have gone the complete opposite route under Fergies reign by bringing up talent organically through the youth systems or finding the diamond in the rough and turning them in to a superstar (see Cristiano Ronaldo).

Nagbe netted his first goal for the USMNT last night. I hope this is a sign of things to come, and that his national form translates into greater confidence at the club level. He is probably the nicest dude in world football, a devout family man, humble, and extremely talented. If he isn't starting at Copa Jurgen deserves to lose his job.

Soooooooo.....some kind of big moves happened in the EPL this summer like I don't know.....Jose Mourinho taking over at Man U (thank god), Ibrahimovic signing for Man U (thank god), and oh yeah.....Paul Pogba singing for Man U for a record fee(thank god that saga is finally over and..thank god). Holy crap this is what Man U has needed ever since Sir Alex left. It's looking promising and hopefully this is the life that they have desperately needed to be injected to the club. Also Conte and Chelsea should be interesting. I'm a little upset Man City got Gundogan, would have liked to see him go to the red side of Manchester but I'll take Pogba just as well . The sickening thing is we had Pogba what, four years ago? then let him slip to Juve and now we just had to buy him back for a record fee. Not the smartest move on the clubs part.

Looking forward to this season. Hopefully Kane's still on it.
Kinda written off F1, so more bandwidth for EPL this season. Just a few hours left...

Momentum seems to be swinging back towards the EPL at the moment with arguably three of the best managers in the world now managing there and the record signing of Pogba. I'm also looking forward to seeing Munich this year, what an unbelievable squad they have.
