Can you get your contact to look at what happened with jbr hereitenbuc? It's weird that they're interested in that but keep telling him to get a chargeback for work he did for them that they never paid for.I had an ongoing conversation with the AZAG office going for a while and shared all info I had about my own issues. Unfortunately, because of bureaucracy/processes/legal ramifications, the AG office cannot confirm anything about any other possible participant in the case, or even confirm if a case is open. My own conversation with them is pretty much over as they have all my info and my bank (NOT LD) refunded me after doing a 30 day fraud investigation of LD. My information is on the pile of the casefiles that may exist. That's why it's critical that anyone who is willing takes the time to fill out the online form and then follows up after the initial blowoff letter. You've got to have a few exchanges with them or they just assume you're a venting consumer who will go away after the heat cools and the first message has been sent. You also can't reference anyone else who may or may not have a claim and the AG office is strictly forbidden to discuss anything but you and your case. It sucks but at the same time, it can't be any other way as the AG office would be opening themselves up to a legal quagmire (cue Famly Guy pic). I haven't posted up regarding the AG stuff because I got refunded via my bank and any AG business is 1 on 1 anyway, RA is now well known throughout the industry and essentially, it's my personal opinion that this board can't do much else. There's a huge volume of reference info here for anyone who needs it. Others have their own reasons for continuing on and that's cool. It's unfair that jbreitenbucher is getting the runaround on his labor but the AG office can't discuss it. Sucks. So why not take that AZAG message and convey it to some of the local Phoenix media? I've taken my experience and everything that I've learned from this forum and conveyed it, but I'm one voice. Maybe if more of you guys do the same, it will pressure the AZAG to do more or just put a brighter spotlight on the fraud and put this to bed once and for all? The general opinion of this forum seems to be to end this and move on, so why not end it and move on? It looks like Indigogene is a suitable replacement for the stuff that LD did. The market has options. Is anyone really going to every trust Roman Acevedo to produce anything for them? I reached out to: CBS 5 - 5investigates@cbs5az.com and ABC 15 "Let Joe Know" - both are really simple and you can remain relatively anonymous. I got nothing to gain aside from not wanting to see this guy rip anyone else off. Just my humble opinion. Great forum, I've learned a lot about some better brands!

I've sent my response to the form letter stating that my complaint is not about unshipped merchandise though I am owed a Montana shirt. I have made it clear in my letter that I have hundreds of emails from RA and Laura detailing work and items promised later promised as cash. I have several voicemail messages from LD. Basically, I did not throw away any communication with LD. Hopefully, that is enough, but it is under $1K that we are dealing with. I'm not sure I'll ever see anything. I'll just have to sell some boots, jeans, jackets, and tweed to make up the funds for the suit the LD cash was to fund.

That's the impact this guy has had on the consumers who thought they were doing something legit by offering up services or giving their money in expectation of goods being delivered. From what I've read on the news sites, it seems like there's a need for the consumer advocates in the news in Phoenix. Are businesses that crooked in Phoenix?

I think I'm getting something I'd probably have a trained German Shepard there...before you open it.

Interesting. Seems to make sense if there's a rumored "600 items" not shipped out. Granted, the next question would be why has it taken months for 600 items to get shipped out and how many of those items haven't been sold to others as part of prior cash grabs?
Hope it's whatever you actually ordered! It certainly doesn't excuse the other 599 not being delivered.

So what happens if whatever they send isn't what you want or doesn't fit? How do you invoke a lifetime guarantee of something if the company no longer exists? And where do you ship it back to if they locked up the old shop?

Package has left Phoenix -> Oakland, CA This is unexpected. I'm surprised to see something going out. Maybe those positive reviews you posted early on are paying off. :-)

I can only pray that most of everyone's early orders will be sent out. I can only express positivity but expect the worst, receive nothing. It only took a year and 17 days to ship out my order

I can only pray that most of everyone's early orders will be sent out. I can only express positivity but expect the worst, receive nothing. It only took a year and 17 days to ship out my order At least we now have a benchmark on timing. They should update their production schedule on the new Kickstarter: November 2015: Funding complete (with $5k of $50k goal) December 2015: Small portion of money spent on shipping out 18 month old orders (1-3 orders) December 2015: Rest of Kickstarter money blown on something else! (vapes? bike parts?) Late December 2015: 50% sale (items being sold our more of the completed but not shipped orders) January 2016: Small portion of money spent on shipping out 18 month old orders. (1-3 orders) January 2016: New website (no money to pay the current web hosting bill) Late January 2016: New agreement announced/surfaces of partnership to produce items for specific vendor. What capital was achieved via Kickstarter is now going towards this deal. Production delayed. August 2016: Oh, you're still here? Well, this is awkward. You were expecting something? I know, a 2 year anniversary sale on KS in honor of the first Kickstarter! ickes can re-order his shirt he still hasn't received. I'd suggest saving the prayers for something more important, like RA finding a new industry to annoy.

That "600 orders are complete" thing bothers the f*k out of me, BTW. Not that I'm even that concerned at this point if one of MY orders is one of those: I'd just like to see somebody get something out of this.

Manny told me that he completed about 600 orders before leaving LD and all that needed to be done was ship them, but the lack of RA's funds were the problem. Im assuming our products are located somewhere ready to be shipped waiting for paid labels.

So all Roman needs is shipping money!? Well Hell, why didn't he just ask, I'd send him some more cash.

So maybe we all send him prepaid shipping notices, pre-populated from Lawless Denim to [your address]. One obstacle resolved.
