so now that fall is coming up we are all looking for long sleeve additions to our wardrobes and for me, winter clothing is my favorite. I highly recommend you guys check out Patagonia and pick up some of their Fjord Flannels; www.patagonia.com/us/product/mens-fjord-flannel-shirt?p=53947-0they're a great weight, they come in lots of cool colors, and they seem very well made. The fit is perfect for a flannel IMO. A bit of room to layer but not over the top boxy...kind of a slim relaxed fit if that makes sense. check em out fellas

love the look of the big haircutter...their sizing just doesn't work for me at all. i can only get away with layering with their regular fit, and without layering with their slim fit. it sucks, because their buckshot shirt isn't quite as nice.
btw...did you see the fjord hoodie? kind of interesting.

Oh I'm perfectly capable of crossing the border, the bridge is in eyesight of my house. The toll adds up though when I have to cross for all my packages.

Any shrinkage on the Fjord's?
The medium works better as an over shirt for me, I'd rather it be a little slimmer, but the small will be too small

Anyone where the sweater jacket down coat? The clone of the thermoball from north face?
I don't have a winter coat for this year after I sold my b3 bomber jacket. Looking for next year at this point.

Anyone where the sweater jacket down coat? The clone of the thermoball from north face? I don't have a winter coat for this year after I sold my b3 bomber jacket. Looking for next year at this point. i've had one for just about two years now. got it to replace a marmot zeus down jacket that got splattered with oil based paint. overall i like the patagonia, but ultimately preferred the marmot. both are comfortably warm to about 30 degrees with minimal layering. the reasons i prefer the marmot: fit...the marmot fit is a bit more trim, whereas the patagonia is boxier. branding...both have a logo on the chest, but i didn't like how the sewn on patagonia patch looked. i used a seam ripper to remove it, but the thread holes never fully closed up in the material (no down has been lost through the holes however) durability...i had worn the marmot for several winters and it still looked brand new before getting splattered with paint. the patagonia has seen the same amount of wear and is showing obvious signs of wear. the fabric seems much more delicate and now has a few pulls, scuffs, and what appear to be minor rips along some spots. (again, no down has been lost through these spots)

@david - thanks man! I'm really looking for a winter coat that is good for 0-30 since the navy peacoat covers the rest.

I'm really looking for a winter coat that is good for 0-30 since the navy peacoat covers the rest. brentkuz i've worn it down to 0 (most of last winter was around -12 - +16 degrees) and it's fine with appropriate layering and some head covering...but if you're wanting something for 0-30 with minimal layering i'd look for something a bit more substantial.
