Timberland

Some unboxing photos of my newly acquired Timberland. The are from the "Timberland Boots Company". The sizes run large and these are size 8 and I normally wear Redwing, 1K and OSB in size 8.5. The construction is definitely pretty good but I don't think it is as good as Red Wing/Wolverine. The leather is from Horween but it is not as "oily" to my other Horween leather boots.

Overall, I think it is a good buy if you can score a pair for around $200. They are 9 holes boots and I am definitely not used to the height.

It is interesting that Timberland uses slightly different tone leather between the toe/body and shaft.



The boots are differently much lighter colors than its website photos. I prefer the website color better. 



They have leather soles. Smell pretty good.
