Hope you guys can give us some feedback. Thanks. Need a link to your company. A search reveals another company named Zayan The Label which also make clothes. Sorry for the confusion. Our website is We are launching today on KICKSTARTER. And I shall make a post later today. Thanks

Hello, my name is Isaac, nice to meet you all!
I've been reading this forum for a while, definitely more of a reader than a poster. I also frequent denimbro and the raw denim reddit.
Favorite brand is rising sun jeans as they are local to my area and really got me into the raw denim scene. I'm a big proponent of made in USA goods, but also a fan of japanese fabrics and craftsmanship.
Happy to be here!

Hello all I never knew buying jeans would get this confusing. Wore 501 all my life. Noticed quality falling off through the years. So I had to search the web for an answer. Wow. Vanity sizing, Raw, Sanforized I feel like I'm learning a second language. I really just want my old 501 back. 24 hours later I have caught the bug. Now in the mail.
MADE IN THE USA 501® ORIGINAL SHRINK-TO-FIT™ SELVEDGE JEANS mid blue
GUSTIN Denim Jeans size 38 Japan selvage 14.5oz raw #21 Black2
Tips for a noobie are appreciated Thanks for any help.

Tip #1 - watch your wallet. There are 2 schools of thought (as far as I'm concerned) 1- buy a couple of inexpensive pairs, like Gustins Heavy Americans, Zims, American Antique (we have a small fade contest starting Jan1st if your interested on the Antique's). After you've collected 4,5,6 (a dozen) pairs then graduate to the nicer more expensive heavy pairs. Or 2- save yourself some money in the long run and go strait to the Big Boy denims (Like Iron Hearts) and limit yourself to 1 or 2 pairs.

Welcome inkiduGood advise above. Here is some more. One of the first things is to find out what fit you like. It took me a while as I realized I like a smaller cuff than originally thought and midrise. Once you find the fit you like, measure and compare to other brands fit. Basically if you're picky about the fit it will point you to brands that have your size. From there it's about checking out if you like the heavy weight, midweight fabrics etc. Beyond that with all the different fabric types and colors the sky's the limit. Lots of info to read here that will point you in a good direction. Good luck.

Hello, sure hope I'm replying correctly. I found this forum when searching for information regarding my recent denim purchase of the Oni 502ZR. I enjoyed what I read and decided to join. Look forward to reading some nice material and the occasional post or two from me. I have been a fan of slubby denim since I have worn my Strike Gold 5109, so that type is my favorite (as of now). I'll be searching the forum often I imagine, my wallet will quiver often with excitement. Or maybe that's fear...

Hey everyone! Took me awhile to finally make an account as someone from the old Gustin forums told me about this place a long time ago but never got around to it til now. Was active on the Gustin forums for awhile and spent way too much money with them. Good to see a lot of familiar faces here though.

Forgot to post an introduction for myself, but I been lurking/reading information on here for the past year. Ended up posting in the IH subforum without realizing to post here first.
Basically used information here and on SF to help guide my purchases. Joined SF and the crowd seems to be more of the tall and slender and imo douchey at times. Seemed more relaxed here without the elitism at least from what i see.
Found new brands and things to check out as I spent the last couple of days looking at past threads.
