Updated as I've measured them correctly now and have reduced the price:
Waist measured flat and level - 33", therefore should be tagged 32" Leg - 33.5 Front rise - 11 Thigh - 23.5 Knee - 16 Cuff - 15.5
Worn once and washed.
If you compare these to the G fit guide, you'll see they're definitely not a 33 Straight, which is one reason why they were too small for me. They're somewhere between a 30 straight and a 32 slim, but you'll need to satisfy yourself as to the fit. They cost $118 plus p&p, but I'll sell them for $70 inc p&p to the US or £40 inc p&p to the UK.

I have a pair of these, and they are fantastic. The fabric for these is a step up.

Yeah, I know, so I was miffed when I realised they were just that bit too small.
I went up a size on my duck canvas ones, but I've not worn those yet either.

I can't tell if I'm a 33 Straight or 34 slim in chinos..I'm very tempted to buy yours just to test it out.

I can't tell if I'm a 33 Straight or 34 slim in chinos..I'm very tempted to buy yours just to test it out. I wear G straight fit, and went straight fit with the chinos. I could not possibly do a slim in these, and probably not the denim either. That said, keep in mind that these are what I would consider very fitted, and are not roomier than the denim. I love my Japan Olives, and Caramel, but use them more for dressing up, as I like a little more wiggle room for a casual, knock around chino.

Here's some pics to prove they exist. The sizing is as per the spec, 33 waist and 34 leg.

Just checked again... That's the third pair that's come in small. No wonder they were tight.
Measured again, flat and not stretched, it's a smidge under 16.5", so would fit a true 33 waist and definitely a 32".
Here's a pic showing the waist measurement, but it looks wobblier than it really is. You need to click on it to see the full width.

Just checked again... Effin' Gustin. That's the third effin' pair that's come in small. No wonder they were tight. Measured again, flat and not stretched, it's 16.25" edge to edge, so eff knows what that's meant to be in real sizing. If no one wants to take them off your hands, since you haven't worn them, you could send them back. I have both Japan offerings, in 33 straight, and they are both exactly 34" in the waist. This is 9.2 oz twill, so not excuses for sewing them small.

Good idea, Dave, as I should get more money that way. I'll try them now, as it's still working hours in SF. I just wish I'd measured them when I got them, as it was two months ago and G might be reluctant to take them back.
I've just remembered that I haven't tried on my post-soak Loomies and these came in 2" under waist spec, so that's another possible disappointment that's about to sink in tonight.

Apologies. When I first put the post up I wrongly said these were unworn. When I looked at the pics above I was wondering why there were creases, and remembered that I worn them once to the office, but they were just too tight to be comfortable, so they went into the drawer. Looking at my G account, I actually received these in September, hence my faded memory.
Anyway, they'll be washed gently and ironed and I've reduced the price.
To be fair to G, they've already said they'll take them back if they're in as-new condition, but I can't claim that.
UPDATE - just measured my genuinely unworn duck canvas 34s and they've come in small too, at a 34 waist instead of 35. Disappointing. I'm sending these back to G for credit tomorrow and hope that Oxbloods will come up soon.

It's a shame nobody's picked these up yet - they're top notch material and I've had tons of compliments on mine. I like them as much as (if not more than) my Indigo x Persimmon and Blue Silk denims, and just wish I could wear such a heavier twill year round here in Austin. GLWS

would pick these up if I knew what to do with the excess 3" of waist. The thighs, knees and cuffs are ideal.

It was sold on ebay. I might as well have set fire to the $90 or so I lost (inc. international shipping and fees) and kept myself warm for a while. G cocked the sizing up yet again but I stupidly didn't check before I wore them. That's happened to me 4 times now.
I'm in two minds whether to sell my undersized 34" duck canvas chinos but I have a fighting chance of fitting these if I can stick to my new regime.
