I'm changing things up for 2015, and started a new rotation of denim today. Always love putting on a new pair for the first time. So into the closet for a while go those pair I'd been working on (Eternal 883's and Gustin Zimbabwes - the Zims are getting a soak in the tub with Dr. Bronner's as I type this). I'll now be wearing my Momotaro 201's and my Dillon Montara (from their Kickstarter campaign) - I'll throw in some others from time to time, just for the change. I actually bought the Momotaros almost a year ago - unwashed from Japan - and had done a hot soak back at the time. But today is their first wear. Definitely a different cut from what I'm used to, but lovely substantial denim (don't know if they're loomstate, but they're definitely loomstate-like). And looking forward to breaking in the Dillon Montaras as well (same denim as the Gustin Okayama Standard).
Anyone else working new things into their rotation for 15?

Gustin Loomstates will be the 2015 pair for me but my LD pairs will get some wear as well. I will be giving my Zimbs a rest also. I also have the Japan Union Blues coming in and I'm looking forward to those. I also still have a SelfEdge credit and discount to use so I definitely see a pair if Iron Hearts or Roys in my future but I'm having such a hard time picking which pair I want. I never thought it'd be so hard to spend my SE credit but theres multiple pairs of IH I want and the Roy Kinda Special Cone Loomstates have my attention also. #decisions #firstworldproblems #more jeans than any human could possibly need

I'm running the American Sixteeners from Gustin, even though the contest they're part of seems to have fizzled out (based on complete lack of any information whatsoever from Gustin).

For me it is pure heavy stuff. Breaking in the Gustin Heavyweight now and will be rotating those with the LD 18 oz Kuroki when they arrive(old site, still no shipping notification). At some point I will switch back to the mid-range 14 oz range in the Spring.
I want to think I am done purchasing for awhile as I got to put some work into the 9 pairs I purchased last year but hey, who am I kidding.

Right now it's zimbs almost daily and super heavies the other days. Throwin the downtown browns in when I wanna wear a denim top.
Hopefully start wearing my 26oz but I need to drop like 10lbs.

Starting off 2015 with my Grey Silks, and will add some Okayama Stds and Ox2s wears, with Naturals and GreyxBlacks sprinkled in, and a few Downtown Browns sightings here and there. Waiting until I drop about an inch in the waist, then all these take a back seat to the Super Heavies and Zimbs, with a frequent add in of Raw Umbers. Black2s really get no love.. It's unfortunate because they are a beautiful black fabric.

I really expected that I'd be into a rotation of strictly Zims and Supple16s by now, with occasional appearances by the LD 18.5oz Kuroki whenever those decided to show up. But the Florida winter has remained stubbornly warm and very humid, so the NIxP and ZimLites have been seeing most of the action with occasional appearances by the Antique Nep Blues for house chores and the Raw Umbers for office work and parties.
I would love to say I'm wearing the Loomies nonstop, but I haven't had the time or the guts to soak them yet. The inseam on my pair of 38 Straights is 1.5"+ shorter than spec (36-36.5" rather than the promised 38") and I'm worried they'll shrink up too short for me. I wanted them to end up at around a 36" inseam, not start off there.

For January/February I've pulled out a couple of newish ones and a couple of very old ones:
Railcar Spikes X009 Gustin BlackXCoal APC x Supreme New Standard Self Edge x Sugar Cane SEXSC02
Don't sign-up to the whole 'New Year's Resolution' thing, but I am going to make a concerted effort to wear my Gustin Downtown Browns a lot more (ie, at some point) in 2015.
Will also be putting my Lawless orders through their paces once they arrive, which I'm hoping might occur during the next two months.

Although, I'll be OK, as long as they don't shrink more than 3". I'll be content around 33.75-34". I just won't cuff, at all. On the bright side, at least, they won't need to be hemmed. You'd think, there has got to be someone out there, with a 38" inseam who only needs 32", to trade with.

Putting the Roy's and Railcars on the shelf and starting a new rotation this weekend. Will be my Samurai S710XX and Oni Secret olives. Soaked them yesterday and they're ready to go. Although the Samurais are rated at 19oz and the Onis at 20, the Samurais are actually heavier than the Onis in reality. Should be a good winter rotation now that temps are getting down there after the warm Dec.

I need to put my G American Standards away and start wearing some of my recent acquisitions. I'd like to start wearing my Strike Gold 1109's and my 3sixteen st-100x. I've also got the st-140x coming so I've got quite a few choices. I still need to get them hemmed though which is the primary reason I haven't put them into rotation

Still trying to wear out my Zims and finally seeing some decent fades at 10 months and no washes. Will be adding in the Japan 21's when they come. Downtown Browns to switch things up.

The only denims I currently have on hand that fit me are my Downtown Browns, Indigogene Crosshatch, and N&F Coffee-dyeds. I will not be making rotation plans until I receive my Gs that I am waiting for and find out if they came within spec. Which gives me an idea.
Since the 21s are pretty rare Zimbs, can we make a list of the people who ordered, and what size they ordered. Just in case they sew up small, we can have a list of people who we could possibly buy the denims off of if ours comes in too small. So for example, I bought the 35 slim 21s. In case it sewed up a size or two too small, I'd be interested in purchasing the 21s off of someone who has it in 36 slim or 37 slim. Just so that not everyone is SoL.

devastitis maybe the mods can put up a new thread for 21s? Like a specific BST/sizing update? I went one size up and they will work if they are on spec or one size small. Any more than that and they are going back but I would prefer to get a pair that fits and bypass G return/credit/exchange.

I'm putting my N&F elephant 3's into rotation to go with my 21 oz SoSo's and Burgus Plus 16.5 ozers. Have to try and fit the Beast in outside of the house
