Kate Spade has an extra 25% off coupon that can be used towards goods on sale using the code DELIGHT. Picked this little number for the girlfriend on heavy discount. Final sale though.

You'll never see them at 7.50 anymore like they ran all the time last year. But I recently took advantage of a buy one get two free deal, so I picked up six for $50 just to hit the free ship deal.

cool - will hold out for another one of those to run. other than helping to dry 'em out, i question whether trees are overkill for work boots/shoes.

Same company that makes all the cedar accessories for Jos Banks and Allen Edmonds (AE might've even bought them out iirc). Supposed to be better than the JB ones. Buy one get one free: www.woodlore.com/bogo-mens-adjustable-cedar-shoe-tree-order-qty-1-2-pairs

To me that's the biggest reason to use them. I sweat so much and my feet can get a little funky, but since I started using shoe trees - especially in my boots, I've noticed a huge improvement in shoe orders.

Holy cow..has anyone seen this Strand Double Flap Briefcase made by Allen Edmonds? MSRP is $645, but during the RDA sale coming on Friday, it apparently drops down to $387. I am very tempted. Just remembered I have two AE gift cards worth $400, of which I paid $300 for. This is definitely going to be tough to pass up. If they have shell Strands or Park Aves in my size on sale, I may be able to pass.

There is no shell up on the website right now with the sale started. Some in shoebank but I only saw it discounted to $399.

I'd like that bag a lot more if they hadn't brogued the straps and weathered the finish, the Hartmann style handle also makes me angry. I know it's unfair to compare to a $1,300 Clegg, but here goes:

I know it's unfair to compare to a $1,300 Clegg, but here goes: that's one of my primary beefs with AE, they brogue the shit out of everything. it's like they employ one guy whose job it is to punch holes in practically every shoe in production. "Bob, these shoes don't look quite right. Let's spruce them up with more holes."

Maybe it's like a nerf gun with dart tips. Office shenanigans just lead to everything being hole punched.

Amazon is having a boot sale. Using the code WORKSAFE20, you can get 20% off of a variety of boots, like Red Wings/Thorogoods/Wolverines. But, the main event is the White's Semi-Dress boots. Coupon drops them to $357.60, and if you have a Chase Freedom card, you can get an additional 5% cash back, which makes up for most of the tax. Very limited quantities.
