I'm just going to start a thread for myself to add to when I find good deals, kind of like the one on Dappered, to reduce the clutter I'll make in the topic.

You could always stop by a nearby supplements store to try them out before buying. I picked these up at Costco on a sale. They seem like a good price and decent nutritionally. Probably not as good as the Quest bars. 20G of protein. About .80 cents each. Taste good. I haven't really had protein bars before, almost seems like cheating. Feel like I'm eating a candy bar. Will come in handy as I know sometimes I go a little long in between eating. Eat a protein bar right after, and then a big meal following that. I've used MusclePharm Assault before, and it does a great job of keeping you alert, probably because of the ample amounts of caffeine and the L-Tyrosine. When I went on a serious cut, I used Yohimbine HCL, caffeine pills, and L-Tyrosine, and that combination did wonders as long as you didn't engage in strenuous activity, i.e. sprinting/lifting weights. |

Thanks Dev. Great thread. I'm hooked on Quest bars now. Which ones do you like? I just tried their new Smores flavor and it was pretty good. The nutritional profile was different though. Contained erythritol, keeping the sugar profile low, but instead it contained less fiber, which I wasn't a fan of. Hopefully they don't transition into that direction. |

Double Choc.Chunk might be my favorite so far. Really all the flavors I've tried have been pretty dam good though. Cinnamon Roll, Apple Pie, Cookies'n'Cream,Brownie,Berry Bliss,Banana Nut.
I might have to buy a variety pack. Hard to buy a box of just one flavor.
Gonna try Smores on my next trip.
