Hi all, I saw Ratio Clothing mentioned on the forum today, and I was wondering what experience you all have had with custom clothing brands. (My best fitting shirt (from goodwill) has a waist that's 6 inches shorter than the chest, and I can't really seem to find that fit anywhere else.) Thanks!

Besides Lawless and Ciano I mean, I've read plenty about those guys!

Ratio put up their first brick and mortar here in Denver and I've been meaning to get over there and get measured for a shirt order. Birthday in March I'm thinking that might be a good target date to get one. Goal this next year is to find a good tailor and learn about how all that stuff works -- which should include full custom measure for Lawless, too.

While I have no experience with ratio, I ordered a proper Cloth shirt, and I am beyond happy with it. It fit me EXACTLY how I wanted it to, short of an error on my part. I've washes not 3 times to make sure I got all the shrink in gonna get, and I'll send it back for a cuff change, which was an error in my part. I feel like for the prize ratio is charging, I would just go PC. But if you guys think I'm a bit hole for storming this thread with PC, delete this. But from first impressions, I would stick with PC.

Proper and Ratio are both good, but I prefer that Ratio is all US sewn. I used to mostly buy Thomas Pink shirts for work but when they moved production out of the UK but still charged as much, I made an effort to move to semi-custom US made shirts. Although Taylor Stitch fit is nearly perfect for me.

What about mtailor; has anybody tried it? Apparently there's an app that scans your torso to give you a good fit...
