Can we get pictures of the different color thread options? It would make future orders easier, I personally went brown and am curious with what it looks like on the Kuroki 18.5oz denim.

Thanks those help but I still figure viewing fully made jeans with the different color threading would be a good resource.

Thanks those help but I still figure viewing fully made jeans with the different color threading would be a good resource. I think if you contact their customer support they may be able to throw a picture of the thread with the fabric swatch and buttons you're thinking together, but the general model doesn't really allow for a full jeans sample in every fabric and thread and button combination. It would be very helpful, but they wouldn't have anything left to sell at that point. For what it's worth, I think the brown on indigo will look good, but not terribly traditional. To Lawless, it might be a good idea to run a straight stitch line of thread for each standard semi-custom thread color through the fabric swatch when launching a fabric to give a better idea for people trying to conceptualize it that don't buy way too many pairs of jeans and think about thread colors all the time. Maybe something to throw on the punch-list for the new year.

I went with yellow thread (Egyptian topaz), silver buttons - same denim as you. Also curious to see this combo as well. To be honest the pictures of the swatches could be improved on as it is hard to dial in the correct color of the fabric which makes it that much harder to choose thread and button color. Ideally they would have a finished sample photographed with base thread and button color which we can work from.

Maybe they need to get something that is a "standard" blue and shoot every indigo swatch against that. They could do something similar for other tones. Get a standard brown, green, red, natural and then shoot any new swatches in that tone against the standard as a tool for comparison. What do you think Dirty_Denim

What do you think Dirty_DenimThis is basically what I'd love to see regarding swatch and construction element photos: Warp side photo (ruler along one edge) Weft side photo (ruler along one edge) Comparison photo next to a standard indigo swatch to see the difference in texture, color, and weave from that baseline indigo For construction options, specifically thread, I'd like to see see a stitch of all threads on the swatch, next to a swatch of the baseline with a stitch of all thread colors Photos of the buttons on the baseline fabric aren't as necessary, but would be gravy

At the moment because we are behind a bit I couldn't get anyone to do this for me. It would require a likely a few weeks of work to cut swatches and sew all the thread colors with buttons as well. I say weeks because to take a machine off right now would add more delays so we need to do this in increments. We are creating sku's to get ready for the new scan system that will change how we keep you guys informed as well as tell us exactly where an order is in production. This is quite the task as we have a ton of sku's to create for all the denims and orders

For the price, quality, customization and support of the products LD is offering I don't think anyone is complaining about where you are today in terms of a polished storefront. People understand that LD is going through growing pains and that it is a process for you guys to reach your end goal. Looking forward to bigger and better things.
