I have a pair ordered a month ago, and am waiting to find out the exact same thing.

I just ordered the 30Oz as well but I'm not sure about the waist measurement. Is this supposed to shrink an inch after wash too? My Gustin size is 32 and I ordered 31 in Ciano. Has anybody had any experience with G vs Ciano sizing? I've put some fairly detailed thoughts on G vs. CF sizing along with pics of 901 and 905 fits in the duck canvas thread.

Will the 30oz shrink with washing like the fit guide suggests? Looking for a 37 waist.

hello everyone.
Mike did his first wash on the 30oz...
he did a size 36 label size
it only shrank 1/2" in the waist 1/4" to 1/8" in the knee, front rise, back rise, thigh and 1" in the length..
he did a hot wash and hot dryer...and had to iron them out to make them flat again.
so we will be posting a revised waist measurement for the 30oz....

I'm surprised the denim didn't shrink the water. #ChuckNorrisDenim

Ha, this 30 oz bull denim. Wow. It's not like pants, more like armor. Or luggage, or a human packing crate. I think I strained my shoulder putting them on and taking them off. I literally can't believe it's possible to make pants this thick.

video of you taking them on and off!! I'm going to have to draw the line in the sand and stay on this side of sharing vids with Internet pants friends. The construction on this pair is impeccable and the sizing is perfect. Show me somebody who's finishing out top blocks better than this for the price. The construction is up there with the $200-$300 products in my opinion. The material color is a bit lighter than the 12 oz, more of a desert tan than a Carhartt style ochre. The taped seams are cool as always and the zipper is a nod toward practicality. Not sure what else to say other than it will be a hell of a break in. You can feel the bottom point of the rear pocket poking you with every step, I can barely bend my legs to cuff and it's like walking in stove pipes. I'm about to throw them in the wash and will see if I can start softening them up.

Those should turn out sweet, after a couple years of hard wear, and washings. When I talkled to Ciano about these, he said buttons weren't an option. You know the drill with duck, in that it just gets softer, and more comfy the more washes they get. You need to beat um up, and get them Ducati ready.

I just received a shipping notification for my 30oz monster. Hopefully, it'll get here sometime next week. The temperature is supposed to be around -21C(-6F) and I can go roam around kicking winters' butt in this pair. I'm excited!

But more is going to be ordered. Also sounds like after a wash you need an industrial steamer to straighten them out.

Careful on the wash. I did a tumble dry and cold wash and then I broke the button trying to put them on after. There was shrinkage for sure.

Feels like mostly in the waist, 1/2" or so? It's one standard CF button at the top with a zipper and that button popped off at the shank.

Raw duck will shrink for sure. Like denim, it will depend on temperatures endured.
