okay
Mike and I can only handle to make about 20pair for this pant...so if you would like to get in on this we will take pre-orders on this. Please email Mike or myself at sales@cianofarmer.com..[correction12/13/2014]
we will send you an order form and the delivery will be around January [end]
we are going to make a size 31-32 and put them on our volunteer fit model so he can review them and so you guys how they fell and fit.
Let me know if you guys have any questions.
we will "not" be able to make a CHINO version because we can not fold the fabric back to make the welt pocket on this fabric and sew it correctly.. it was about 3/4" thick around the seams to sew down the pocket..and MIKE said "no wayyyyy!" HA...
if we are missing details you would like to see..we can add those as options [free of charge]
the price is around $90USD

WOW, great work Ciano and that pant looks amazing. I really like the color with that texture and the price is very good too. I don't recall that we have ever came across a fabric that is in the 30oz range.

yes...our size LABEL 34 in the slim would work... looks wondeful, really interested !!! When will it be available on your site? And how much is it to send it overseas (France) ? because it must be heavy as hell !!! So, you recommend to size 1 down from gustin, that's it ? i'm a 34 straight from Gustin... Cheers we will post this up after we get everyone from this board that whats this jean..the board gets first pick of the 20 pair we are going to make. Then what ever is left we will post on the site. to ship to europe has been around 27USD-38USD...for a 2LBS-3LBS[1kg-1.4kg]..I think this comes in around 4LBS[1.8kg] and should be the same.. our 32" 905 REGULAR would be similar to the Gustin 34 straight..but our thigh to the knee is about 3/4" bigger

Very nice. How was it walking around in those beasts? funny you asked...as long as i did not sit it was fine...i really needed a belt...Mike had his on yesterday during a deer hunt in Columbus TX and said that around the fire the fabric soften up [heat] and when we apply steam to the fabric... the fabric soften up..but once it cools down it stiffens back to the rigid state..never seen a fabric do that before...

Dude, I would be all over your pants if the back pockets were closer together . . . I just can't pull the trigger with that back pocket alignment.
Your stuff looks incredible, though . . . I can tell that your products are a labor of love.

Man, loving your jeans. But I have one bone to pick - being a numismatist for about 25 years, I hate the destruction of beautiful old coins. But that's my hangup BTW, how do you pronounce "Ciano"? Like piano? Key-A-No? Do tell.

If I know my italian, it should start with an aproximated "t" sound. . . tchi-ano ? The "key" sound comes from "chi," like Chianti. I feel like i need to buy just because it sounds cool to pronounce.

Wait . . . is that right? Is it really pronounced "justin?" Like Jennifer with a G (Gennifer)? Seriously? I know there was the Goostin running joke, but seriously, Justin?

That's my guess, too.. worked in Europe for 10 years.. lived in Italy for 2 of them. Ciano would be pronounced "chee-AH-no.." though the Italians would probably pronounce it with two syllables.. "cheeAH-no.."

I'm tempted to go with these instead of waiting for the 18Oz Orche Partly because they're available now and partly because 30 should be tougher than 18 But are they practical? You said they were okay unless you sat down? is that because they were too stiff? I'll be using them for work so I need to be able to move Can you put the articulated knee on them?

Id bet these are very similar to the Canvas I saw cut as a swatch and mentioned a month ago. It stands perfectly at attention if I hold it out without bending or drooping one inch. If this is what I saw then its HEAVY for sure
