I was simply providing an out from being lazy. I machine wash and dry chinos, not like they get dryer fades or anything. A steam between wearing makes all but the lightest last four or five wears between washes. RgT officer chinos are about the same weight as TS and hold up well between washes and do shrink about half an inch in inseam after the first wash and dry. Can't speak to the ISC ones, which I assume shrink more than the garment dyed ones and of course the ISC would require stupid washing procedures.

I was simply providing an out from being lazy. I have an over supply and I'm lazy. And can't cuff? My RgT can be stacked or a single cuff. I guess they shrank more than a half inch as they're a little under 34" and claim to be 35" unwashed. I hem to 33" when I'm not being lazy, but I kinda like the cuffed look on the officer trousers.

I'm a 30" inseam, so I'd need them to be hemmed to at least 32~33" for a nice cuff and stack. 35.5" would mean I'd have to double cuff and stack or triple cuff. I have no problem doing that with denim, as that's what I do with my 35 slim Gustins, but for trousers, I think it looks a little sloppy.

Nep western is in hand! In a rush at the moment, I'll get some pics up eventually. Construction seems to be excellent and the nep fabric is really beautiful stuff with no rough break in required. I got the classic XXL as I'm sorta between sizes so went up and am glad I did. Feels just a little snug throughout but I'm sure it'll wear in nicely. Really glad I got in on this one.

Alright, low quality pics of the nep western have been taken. After going over the whole thing with a tape measure I'm satisfied with the specs. Less than a half inch snugger in the chest and shoulders and slightly longer in the sleeve and overall length. I'll snap a fit pic in the morning when I can get in front of a full length mirror but it's basically perfect for me. The one thing I found to be a problem is the chest pockets and front yoke. The left side is about a centimeter further from the center placket than the right. It looks a little odd in pics of the shirt flat but with wear it's less obvious unless I'm looking for it and will likely become even less noticeable with time and washing as it molds to my body. Back yoke is perfectly centered so I think they set the front side based on the snaps instead of the placket. So close, Gustin; almost got it perfect. Pics: I'll likely wear it with the top two or three snaps undone making the misalignment less of an issue. MOP on the snap is recessed. I missed that in the original description but it makes for a cool snap. Seems to be substantial enough for the weight. Stitching is very good and cleanly finished. It's as good if not better than my 3sixteen type 3s. Showing the weft against the warp. Those scoops are totally reasonable this go around. Overall I'm content, fabric is really nice, I would have preferred white stitching throughout but the indigo thread should give it some contrast as the denim fades. I think a lot of folks will be happy with the final product.

Those pockets are bugging me a little more this morning. Considering taking a seam ripper to one of the pockets. I see Lee does a single pocket western; need to think about it. Fit pic:

Strong no vote for killing a pocket. Just Hulk the arms off at that point.
And f u Gustin for your major wood for tonal thread. Dillholes.

Fit pic: That shirt looks good on you; good idea with having the pocket moved. For a time I wanted only single pocket shirts ( I know that is not in line with work shirt asthetics) but the two pockets have really grown on me. What's up with that scoop? So much more mild than the dick curtains they usually have? I much prefer the decreased scoop.

I sent a shirt back to Gustin because of a pocket issue. They "fixed it", and it came back with misaligned pockets anyway. My advice would be to have someone else do it rather than Gustin, which is sad since it's their product.

Why not just send it back for a refund? he likes the fabric. If it's a small fix, he should contact G and ask if they can reimburse him to get it aligned by a tailor.
