Wafflecopter has landed, selvedge ID intact. I'm pretty sure it's everything I thought it'd be. If it was using those grey MOP buttons they had briefly with the two pocket (or snaps! SNAPS!) and no button down collar it'd be everything I hoped it'd be. Those damn button down collars..

I am now a member of the gustin denim club .
Received a pair of #7 regular from the stock store this weekend.
33 slim, really like the fit, I think I'll like them even better when they are broken in.
I backed the recent 1776 campaign, but in 34 slim, I was unsure on the size, I emailed gustin this morning to request a size change, what are my chances that they will honor the request?

Were you not able to change the size under your orders on the "My Account" section? If they've already gone to cutting, then perhaps no.

wavesbeneathThese waffles are quite simply saturated with indigo syrup, so it's pretty hard to get any sort of definition. I washed it since these initial pictures without much change, though it reads a bit more navy after the wash than black like it does in the photos. At this point it's still dark enough to wear the collar buttons undone and have it remain relatively unnoticeable. It was a mistake to pair them with postal herringbone jeans, the sight of which I have spared you all. My favorite part, obviously: Inside the yoke:

I don't remember seeing that offering.
So don't get caught in the rain with that thing on right?

I always run to the washing machine when it hits the drain cycle to see how blue the water is, but surprisingly this didn't resemble smurf murder at all. I think it's also pretty shrinky, though being a bad scientist I didn't get any before or after numbers to support my theory. I've found the key to happiness with Gustin to be avoiding measuring instruments, so I've stopped measuring anything unless something feels off.

Ill have to post a pic of the IH Waffle to compare. I've got 6 or 7 washes which has lightened it up but it didn't start out as dark as G's.

I think when I wash it three or four more times it'll start to look closer, but this thing was nearly black when it showed up, it really takes bright sunlight to bring out the blue. I'll probably try to source some darker buttons for it, though, some of these don't look like they're going to stay attached for long, so it might be good to find something that I think fits the fabric a bit more. The shots of the iron heart make it seem a bit thicker than this one, but it did seem to come out of the wash thicker than it went in.

Agree about the measurements, I never bother unless it's off. I wore the shirt below today and the checks are fairly small, was thinking about posting a fit pic because the placket is perfect on this thing, you know, contrary to all you read here.

What's amusing is that pattern looks skewed just laying there on that damned stump.

Are you sure your house is level? Don't post the fit picture, northcoast . The forum has never failed a challenge to pick the G shirt apart. Yes, we will make you insecure about wearing it (or relegate it to under-sweater duty) in a matter of minutes.

Exactly, I have two G button down shirts in my closet and they never look right to me again... thanks to this forum.

I just hide them under a sweater, so all people can see its the collar. As long as I don't take off the sweater, I am all good. Just need to keep remind myself of that.
