Here's close-ups of my Oxblood Trucker. I absolutely love the colour and it should look even better with some creases and wear lines. The lining is so thin it makes next to no difference, but at least it gives a secure pocket for my big LG G4. I can also button that and my card holder into the chest pockets, so it's practical enough. I had the green trucker but wasn't so excited by the colour so sold it, and also went up a size to L on this, which worked better and allows some thin layering. What sweater is that? I'm looking for a thick roll neck.

brentkuz , it's from here. There's a whole thread about these on TFL. The often have 15% off codes which makes it an even better price.

I received this in the mail today. The stripes are very narrow and it looks really good sewn up. It took awhile to fund and I think if they had a sewn up pic it would have sold through quicker. www.weargustin.com/store/2517

Ok I'll try to do that. It's currently drying after a rinse. Even before the rinse this fabric was "buttery" lol.
I happened to be wearing a JC**W light chambray today because it was warm here. I got home and opened this and the hand is definitely preferable, softer where the JC**W is more like a synthetic feel.
And sewn up, with more fabric volume, it looks darker than in that picture and the stripes are not so contrasty unless you get up close.

It looks a lot like some sugar cane fabrics I've been considering lately.

I don't have a button down/dress shirt chambray so I'm really looking forward to it.

I just received my STeel Nep Plaid. I really like it and to me this is like a flannel fabric. This is much more the weight of standard flannels (say Car***tt) that I have been looking for. 6.5 oz is a nice sweet spot for my fabric wants in terms of winter/fall flannel shirts and at $76 it's a price point that makes me grab for my wallet.

That just sucks. Gustin needs to get it's shit together. How after all this time are they still doing this? Insane.

bruns Yeah, the denim is awesome! I've never seen Oni's in person so I don't know if this is how they are "supposed" to be but they are very rough, very neppy and (IMHO), very cool. I'm glad I have the Ciano's coming in this same fabric. If the Japan 21's come in under spec as well, I guess I'll parlay the funds from both of those Gustin's into a pair of Iron Hearts.

Are Gustin normally happy to refund errors like this? My issue would be that I'd be returning it from overseas . I have three pairs arriving; if the two which I'm expecting in the next few weeks or so are that far off spec I'd be tempted to cancel the Japan 21's and be done with getting denim directly from Gustin.

I've only ever had to return one pair for being under spec (I have 7 pairs of jeans and two pairs of chinos that are just fine), and they refunded me no problem.

Are these the same as the Japan One Sevens? I think he meant Vintage 18. Got it. Its a shame too when i read about stuff like this. Gustin can get some amazing denim fabrics and when their stuff is up to spec its an amazing value. Unfortunately, we mostly hear about the under spec stuff which hasn't resolved itself. Maybe G should stop offering anything over 17oz. Both my Blue 17's and Japan One Sevens are awesome

My organic Jutes sewed up 1-2 inches under spec. Customer service claimed it was the nature of the fabric. I never once received an apology acknowledging the jeans were botched. It seems like they funnel the blame on excuses. I just got my organic hemp blend #124 and they sewed up under spec. Also, the jeans have the incorrect selvedge ID color (white instead of yellow). I have the vintage 18s on order....crossing my fingers! I am most likely done with Gustin. It's a shame because I want to support the small clothing company.
