Thanks for posting about this company. They are an original for sure. First company to make a western shirt with snaps and made the first commercially available bolo ties. Interesting to read they designed a western shirt to be a slim fit so cowboys did not catch on things as they rode. Their celebrity customer list is amazing. Elvis to Robert Plant.

Amazing iconic brand! It would not be hard to imagine that many of the Japanese shirt makers took their cues from Rockmount.
The pictures and stories that accompany the celebrity customer list are a real treat. It is nice to see an American brand being coveted around the world!
I think I might have to take a trip down to Denver and pick up a few shirts and a hat.

So much history w/ this brand. Thanks for this thread unnamed! jockohomo, I'd like to pick-up a couple of Rockmount shirts for summer in Sydney and, I agree, nice to see this great brand still ridin' the wave!

If you ever find yourself in Downtown Denver, stop by! The website doesn't do them justice... Beware, you will leave with merch!!!!! I love my RM shirt (complete with metallic silver threads).

That was a nice article. Maybe western shirts are good for you. The owner still goes to work at 101. I might get a Rockmount shirt. I need some diamond snaps. Jack A. Weil, creator of the legendary Rockmount Ranchwear, 101 years young, and still going to work every day!
