This is deadstock fabric and all, and I assumed it would never appear again, but the product page for the CPF has been updated with sewn up product photos, which I find would be odd for something that will never return. The last time I saw the page, it just had swatches, and this was well after the last batch had dropped/shipped. Anyhow, I hope it comes back--it feels great and has a nice weight for warmer months. Plus, the streakiness makes for some nice overdying which seems to be taking off amongst members. www.weargustin.com/store/279

I really dig them, especially the almost plasticky tough weft side. They are tough but soft. The indigo yarn almost seems resin coated. The streakiness makes them tough to love, but that is exactly what makes them interesting for overdying.

It doesn't say that it's deadstock now . . . I wonder if Cone started producing it again?

It doesn't say that it's deadstock now . . . I wonder if Cone started producing it again? From the email: We normally find very classic dark indigo styles from our friends at Cone. This style is something much more unique. For starters, this is deadstock fabric, no longer in production. Both the warp and weft use 100% Pima cotton. This is a long-staple cotton variety renowned for luxuriousness and durability. This style is the by far the most textured Cone Mills denim we've ever discovered. A highly slubby warp yarn results in a very streaky appearance. The white weft shows through prominently and randomly against the indigo warp creating a fiery look. Great fades are in store for a denim like this one. Definitely the most bold USA selvedge we've found so far and we're glad to have found just a bit more.So looks like it's zombie stock.

I didn't read the email, but the descriptoin on the site omits the deadstock language.
