If one was to place a single order for a shirt, chore coat and jacket, and we wanted all three custom, would we only select the $98 custom option for one of the items OR would we select it for all three? If only once I assume that we would just put in the notes that the other two items would be custom as well. Thanks for your time.

ndak You will need to do it once for your top and once for your bottom. So at most pay the custom fee 2 x

Odd, slightly tangential question:
I saw the limited custom patch on IG yesterday, which was awesome. If we did a full custom, would it be possible to send in a custom patch that we (or someone else) made to be used on a custom pair of jeans?

I sent my own buttons to be used so feel free to send us a request via your order message and then add a note with the order number in the package u sent mentioning the order the patch is for and which jeans. We will add it to your order envelope. Try not to send it to early because we do not print the order sleeve until we are ready to start production. So if we are on a 8 to 10 week turn I would send it right around the 6 or 7 week mark

Hi DD. I backed t he Nihon Menpu Dark Grey back during Kickstarter and have sent 2 emails without any replies. The knee came up being too tight by about an inch or so. Can I Sent it back for alterations to open up the knee about 0.5-1 inch? Am I still able to get the Nihon Menpu Dark Grey fabric? In addition, Im not located in the US. How will the shipping be like?

Hi Of course. Whats your email so I can look for the messages? When you send them please give a detailed account of your KS info and what went wrong. Put that note in the package and send it back. I would also follow up via email with the tracking # as well as what you put in the note By the way is the knee the only area with an issue? We can probably take that out a smidgen

Yup it's mainly the tapering at from mid-thighs to the knees being a little too narrow. resulting in very tight fitting mid thighs to calfs. the measurements at the cuff and up until the calfs are great though and spot on like the top block . Tue email to converse with Laura is wankevin91@gmail.com, kickstarter however is kevinwan91@gmail.com, have also communicated with the rep on Facebook.

I order slim taper for my chino and jeans and hope they are not too slim.

It looks that most are having some issues with Slim tapered in that area.

Logistic question, if one has already paid for the full custom option, how should one go about noting this on future orders down the road? Mainly asking in regards to the drop down boxes regarding size. Not sure if something could be added to the ordering process that can be selected as already having a custom pattern for shirt, jeans etc.
Thanks,
Vince

When checking out choose the sizing you are close to but mention you want to use your custom measurements. I would even go as far as to add the measurements from your original order right in the notes box. People can choose to use their custom pattern or not as it is up to you if you want the perfect fit on every item. Some may want a perfect fit on one pair and some may want to have jeans that fit different for different occasions

Hi Sal,
Can you confirm the taper and garment alterations services are available for non-Lawless denim? I called the Lawless shop about this yesterday and the person on the phone wasn't sure.
Thanks as always!

Anyone think I should trust LD with tailoring of my Wabisabi shirt (just shorting it) couldn't go any worse than your other tailored ws. might be best to see how your new properly sized shirts arrive and then decide if you can wait however long it will take to get your wabisabi back...assuming a lengthy wait.

Seems to be a lot of confution over there right now. i'm pretty sure that Winterland had LD tailor a shirt for him. that was even back when they were still dealing with most of the KS and old site drama. maybe he will chime in on his wait/turn around time. either way i'd probably call them up and get an idea of how long they expect it to take.

Anyone think I should trust LD with tailoring of my Wabisabi shirt (just shorting it) I sent two shirts to be shortened. They did a great job. Was about two week turnaround. I would do as suggested and give them a call to check on turnaround time, price and procedure to get it to them.

I need to get a chainstitch hem on a pair of jeans. Has anyone used Lawless? How was the turnaround? I've got no doubt they'll do a good job, I just don't want to send my britches off for an indefinite amount of time.

Bump since my thread got modded here but remained down the page. Anybody use Lawless for hemming? I was in the process of moving the other posts asking about shirt shortening and saw yours. Figured this was the best thread for it. Your first post stayed in the same order timewise as when posted, whether looking at recent posts or threads. I don't recall seeing anyone talk about having Lawless do hemming yet. Follow the link on the beginning of the thread, place an order $10 and we will all hope for a speedy return.
