These look amazing! I prefer the regular pocket to the welt pocket but don't hate the welt. The interior detailing is incredibly swanky for a pair of work pants and I'm a sucker in general for detailing. The articulated knee, how does it work? I'm not too familiar with that. Also, I'm on vacation about 1.5 hours from the cone denim Greensboro location right now so I'm feeling the jeans heritage for sure right now.
I'll happily pay for and review this pair while you source 18 oz duck, then I'll buy a pair of these as well. And I'm with Wils on the amazing communication and responsiveness of Ciano Farmer along with the speed at which they're producing new products at our requests.
Let me know if I should post the pics of me dancing naked in the streets, haha.

any ETA on the duck canvas? I'm considering these over NF's and G's. I have a pair of NF canvas and the fabric is pretty light. If you like heavier fabric, I would go with Ciano. I have a pair of his 20oz jeans and I really love mine. |

Will you be offering this without the articulating knee? Is this feature hidden in the interior? I can see how it would be usefull. Articulated knees on work pants are a godsend. I can't tell from the photos if cianofarmer is using darts to do it underneath that second layer of canvas (i.e. the knees are articulated and reinforced) or if he's got some other sewing kung-fu going on there. Is that a bartack in the middle of the leg?  |

here is the finished version of the 5 pocket model..please keep in mind this sample is in a 12oz duck... 901 SLIM FIT SIZE 31. I will post the chino version tmr AND........ I can get ....ready!!!!! 29oz duck canvas and.......... 37oz.......yes 37oz..Mike justed order sample yardage to see if we can sew the 37oz on the vintage machines.. 37oz will only be Moss green [super dark green] and the 28oz..i will get back to you on the color...but it will be only one... we did not hem the sample of the 5 pocket...   |

I will show the construction tmr. the bar tack in the middle will be removed..Mike made a mistake...the folded the fabric so when you bend the knee you have extra knee room....this will be an option when you order.... |
