Looks stunning! This is why it's not good time have a closet (or house ickes) full of denim. No chance to make them look this great.

So WICKED AWESOME!!! You made some very cool Bragging rights with those! dabated as it is (salt water wash) at least you can say, "Been there done that" and it makes for a cool story.
This got me wanting to tame the BEAST again.

I'm surprised that there's no (that I can see) wear/rip in the cuffs. This 26oz Denim is some serious stuff. Glad I didn't sell mine. @wiskeyriver did you end up getting a pair?

You may change your Tune (literally:) once you've worn them for a few hours. The BEAST sewed up smaller/tighter, so even the upper block is tight. They are not forgiving.

I've been around long enough to read all the stories, G forum included. When G first offered them, I was after something else, and thought I'd get them on another run. Little did I know what was to come. My one regret. I'd still love to tame a pair. If a 36 straight crosses my path, I'll bag it.

They are not forgiving. Hahahaha. But seriously, as scooter and gsg can attest to, if we can tame a pair of Strike Gold 2109s, we can probably tame anything. Those things were so stiff and tight and unforgiving and almost sandpaper-like at first, I actually was rubbed raw on the backs of my knees (the knees are now perfect, and are one of my only pairs that don't kneebag). But yeah...I got this. (puts shades on)

The initial try on was enough of a pain that there was never a second. Hopefully whiskeyriver will give them a good home.

I was afraid I was going to pee my pants the first time I wore them to work. But eventually the button holes get broken in.

I think I use some sort of tapered Rod (or it may have been a butter knife) through the button holes, to stretch them. They (un)button up fine now.
