Any beastly fade pics out there? Anyone put some hard time into theirs? You have the best beats by far. I need to drop 10lbs to really wear mine. I'll second that! You should post a pic on IG. Give Gustin a feather in their cap.

My one problem/complaint with the BEAST is the waist band, it just doesn't give. Everything else is good and broken in. Fit is fine, buttons go on and off fine. But bending over in these things bites into me. I'm not going to give up with them but they are put away for the summer.

Looking good! I pulled mine out today and wow, they're heavy! Have not worn much due to them being about 1" small and me growing about 1" since I got them... Still awesome jeans.

Blast from the Past...my first day in The Beast. Tamed the 23 last winter ('14) & spent last 6/7 months wearing-in the G Zim18's. Pulled The Beast outta the drobe this morning. I remember the 23's were a little more intimidating...anyhow, Season of The Beast begins (for me)...nice pic from ira26ozbeast...anyone have any fade/evo pics of their Beasts?

When it cools off, I'm in there. But I need to drop 10-15 too. Pulled them out the other day and was all sentimental...

Here's a snapshot from the office Thanks univibe88! Man, they're rockin'!! Beautiful belt, too. Warps on 'roids!! Dig 'em & gonna tame 'em but 18-21oz is my preference going forward.

Jesus Christ! They are amazeballs!
How in the hell did you get them so beautiful? Just wear? Looks like they like to fade to an epicly crispy White. I wonder if this is a feature of heavier jeans since my IH reminds of the looks.

Thanks guys! I just wear them. A lot. I am guessing 150+ wears. They have been my regular pair since last August.
I have a desk job, so not like I am out doing construction in them or anything.
But I do a fair amount of urban hiking with my wife. I also ride a motorcycle to work every day. And I wear them while doing work on the bike too, which isn't a ton but does find me sprawled out on a cement driveway.
They've never seen water. I plan to wash over the summer at some point and I bet there is a lot of loose indigo that will really rinse out.
As for the belt it's a Herman Oak veg tan belt from Gfeller case makers. It's about 5-6 years old. And the buckle is a brass repro of a civil war era Louisiana plate.

'Heavy' kudos to Toru Nogami (Samurai) & Haraki & Giles (IH) for 'inventing' super heavy denim...'Bout 5 weeks in, daily wear, & I'm just loving The Beast. G-23oz were more tightly woven &, for me, required some 'serious' effort to break so I was ambivalent about tackling The Beast. The 26's are a more manageable/easier wear-in & will yield a more interesting result. 18oz denim feels flimsy; diggin' the substantial feel of 26 & the way they are developing. For me, Gustin's greatest moment. Lovin' The Beast.

My beasts are at Ciano getting hemmed and darned. The cotton Gustin stitching thread sucks for the 26oz fabric.
Ciano is fixing the button holes and a few other places where the thread snapped.

My tailor told me the beasts are too heavy to be hemmed, so I had to take matters into my own hands!! bentin -- looks like it.

G should step out/up more often. Little more rock'n'roll. Anyhow, Beasts are unique. Old26 nailed it, as he does, lol, when he said The Beast reminded him of fun times. Lovin' these jeans.
