I just checked the Instagraaam and...anyone know when they are going to drop the "Indigo Breakfast Sampler?" Should they spend more time to fix their products than show us how great their life are?

That breakfast pic is a "re-gram" from a customer's account. From a month ago.

Short answer is no. Long answer is no as well. That is why the customers are unhappy. You don't see Sal to post lifestyle photos on IG. He posted photos about his family and his dedication to work. Btw, I know we are probably 15-20 years apart in age. I seriously have no interest to have silly back and forth with you. Even if Sal did post lifestyle photos on IG, no one should hold it against him. People are allowed to enjoy life. Mattbert already said it was a customer's photo.

Man, how do you end up being "that guy" almost every time you post on the Gustin side of this board and turn into that sweet, petite, little guy when you post on the Lawless side? I don't get this?

Man, how do you end up being "that guy" almost every time you post on the Gustin side of this board and turn into that sweet, petite, little guy when you post on the Lawless side? There are a lot on here that have a long history with Gustin. I can't speak for any other brahs, but I assume they have similar reasons. My first order was June 2013 and I think I am like 12 pairs of jeans, one jacket and a belt in (I know of others that have ordered much more than that). Instead of seeing Gustin get better over time, I watched them start to get worse. At almost two years in, it sounds like the quality is getting worse and the delays have not improved. They also started removing the transparency they always said was paramount. I still remember when they got rid of the number available and went with straight percentages. There are many other little things that add up to a big problem. I left Gustonia when I no longer had anything positive to say and I didn't want to be that Negative Nelly. Then this place popped up and I, personally, still some qualms to discuss. Like, how are they still releasing denim without posting weft pictures? (reference #189 Italy Pink and #162 Italy Pure Blue and 188 Italy Indigo Cashmere etc. You want people to pay $175 for a pair of jeans and you can't take the time to take a photo of the back side of the denim?) Lawless has the benefit of a fresh start. They haven't disappointed me enough at this point. Hopefully, they won't. So far, my one major issue with Lawless was posted on Kickstarter and they addressed it and even offered an outstanding corrective action. Ok, they also sent the entirely wrong denim with paperwork saying it was the right one, but they are going to fix that...even though they now no longer have the denim I wanted. Gustin would have answered the kickstarter concerns in silence or just told me to deal with it and then made their weird statement of like, "wasn't the first time we made a mistake and won't be the last."

Jeez, if people are getting upset over a customer photo that Gustin reblogged back around Thanksgiving then they must be going absolutely incandescent over the Lawless feed on Instagram, what with all the hanging out with television personalities and shooting sexy HD motorcycle videos and such.

Gustin would have answered the kickstarter concerns in silence or just told me to deal with it and then made their weird statement of like, "wasn't the first time we made a mistake and won't be the last." I have 18 or 19 pair of Gustin jeans, 4 shirts, 2 trucker jackets and a duffel, so I think I might have some justification for having an opinion on them. As I have stated in the past, I have had issues with some of these purchases and in every single case those concerns were quickly dealt with and I did not feel the need to extract some sort of compensation over and above rectifying the problem. In my experience, Gustin quality has gotten better over the period I have dealt with them (first order received in November of 2013). That is, no more wavy leg hems, sizing within spec, pocket material upgraded (still not great), etc. The delivery issues don't bother me since I am very used to it with respect to other purchases I make from small US based manufactures/suppliers relating to my hobbies.
With regard to transparency, I think Gustin realized that being up front was a two edged sword when their good intentions get twisted and turned against them. Take the number available vs straight percentage issue, to me that has not one ounce of significance with respect to my purchase decision. Pictures of the backside of the denim? Again, the last time I wore my jeans inside out was the last time I mixed Dom with George T. Stagg. BTW, how do the Lawless Denim website pictures satisfy you.

I know what you mean. I wonder if any of these guys have checked out the lengthy slide show on the Lawless site??? I wonder who paid for that expensive looking motorcycle James Roman Acevedo is seen in a video firing up???

I wonder who paid for that expensive looking motorcycle James Roman Acevedo is seen in a video firing up??? Really? I still can't figure out the need in people to jump to these things. "ZOMG Gustin is posting expensive bottles of liquor! WHERE'S MY JEANS?!", the owner of Lawless has a nice motorcycle! f!@king LOLLYSTICKS HE STOLED MY MONIES AND BOUGHT A MOTORCYCLE!". This is about 90% of the interaction after a kickstarter project gets delayed, which is every one of them. If Sal shows up here and says he just got fired and he's not gonna get paid, and that we're all f!@ked, that's the only indication I would have at this point that we're all, in fact, f!@ked. They're shipping product, there are issues, lets all calm the hell down and quit with personal attacks against eachother, vendors, the world.

cafe racers are weird and look uncomfortable to me. But I would take that for a ride! I don't care if it is a sportster and probably shakes like a paint mixer on wheels! The girl, on the other hand, that is definitely the kind of girl that wouldn't talk to a guy like me...and I wouldn't blame her for such actions.

Just for the record, I do not begrudge Lord Gustin his fancy-pants tipple (anyone who's seen my beer fridge would know I'm in no position to criticize) nor Lord Lawless his enthusiasm for two-wheeled transports and the heavenly creatures who pretend to ride them. Plus, that stuff's more fun to look at than a selfie of a business owner, uh, grimly reviewing production metrics or some such extremely serious and diligent activity.

Agree.. anyone who's been around this forum a bit probably already knows individual biases and character traits. I'd say, for the most part, everybody continues to meet expectations.

Agree.. anyone who's been around this forum a bit probably already knows individual biases and character traits. I'd say, for the most part, everybody continues to meet expectations. That said, I'm not a kickstarter Lawless backer, so what I'm talking about there is not focused on people here so much as it is my actual kickstarter experience. They almost all come in late (there are a few guys I have backed a few times that usually come in early), there's only one that I haven't received (surprisingly not this sock project that delivered something like a year late to me, and is still working through the last of their orders last I looked, and I've had them for something like 6-8 months now). The one that didn't deliver has actually been purchased and may actually deliver a product yet, so we'll see if they actually honor that. Based on that project, though, I typically shy away from electronics and that sort of thing, (although I'm pretty excited about getting these here in the next couple months). The psychology of it is interesting to me, especially how quickly an image of a party, or traveling, or recreational purchases/activity of any kind can turn people ravenous. I've backed items from Gustin as recently as last week, and I have a few orders pending with Lawless, so I have skin in these games, I just don't think it's beneficial to get up in arms over images of food, motorcycles, or alcohol.

New drops look nice. 17 oz japans for $91 and those 2 twills. I must admit, G does have a great eye for fabrics and denims.

I think I am going to back the 17s.
Like the twills but not in the button-down.
