Don't underestimate the value of two months of anticipation to increase your bond with your clothing.

This thread makes me want to buy a bunch of $200 Varvatos plain T's. Just because it would probably keep a few of you up at night knowing such a tragedy occurred.

I actually have a hard time finding tees that fit me good. They are usually too long, like those in that link above...and not organic.

As I'm getting ready it's all "oh hello Mr Cobblepants, you're looking mighty fine, how would you like to join Master Jonathan and myself for a day out on the town? Today we'll be going out for work and perhaps a beer with the fellows after!"

Two times this summer, my son did a modeling job with some T's. He usually gets paid very well and sometimes gets the clothing. He came back twice with a couple T's. I was like "really? BFD". He then told me that these ultra-hip fashion T's were $300-$400 a piece and rolled his eyes. Thankfully he did that because that is insane.

i don't really care about the G t's (though may eventually back one if they offer different colors), but would like some of these sources you guys know of to get good quality US made organic cotton t's. the places everyone typically talks about here are either double the price, or big boxy shirts with overly long sleeves. i'd definitely like to look at some lower priced options. edit: devastitis does make a solid point about the fuss over these t's. there wasn't as much fuss over the simple wallets, water bottles, or key chains...though those were also things not made from unicorn vomit that could be found for the same price elsewhere. i get that the direction that G has been heading doesn't sit well with many people here and some bridges are smoldering, but as everyone has said...it's just a t-shirt...a $13 dollar t-shirt...how on earth has it garnered multiple pages of activity?

But arguing about a $13 t is just as silly. Now add in that it takes a few months to get it, and it's a little less silly. But some are acting like it's an affront to sanity.

I agree with the belt. Why not just get one for $79.99 from the beltman and have a belt for life.
About the tees tho, I have gotten hundreds in my life but only a handful of them actually fit like I want. The Goodwear is close but its a little too 80`s cut and with the stiffness looks a little wierd sometimes newly washed.
I just think the G one might actually be a good fit.
//edit and the organic made will get me wife-points (wich is sorely needed when all my LD-stuff drops)

The other items didn't receive any fuss because those were offered at a time when everyone here still liked and supported Gustin. While I appreciate your stance on Gustin, you support and stand up for their product, you're using of words such as always, everyone, hates etc. in describing how members here feel about Gustin are exaggerated. It just contributes to the hyperbole. I have seen many members who complain about Gustin issues turn around and say they will probably still buy more of their goods. It is probably best for you to just try to ignore some of the posts. I try to. We're all different people with different opinions.

$13 doesn't seem bad at all for an american made organic cotton T.
A lot of the other little items do nothing for me at all.
I do think the wholesale prices is sorta BS. We just aren't paying as much of a markup.

Thought interest was lost since they're Chinese. In buying them sure, but not in looking at your pics!

I was wondering the same, but I'm starting to think they're actually the black x Aqua, even though they don't quite look like that.

The tonal stitching has to stop. If we start a pool, can we buy up all of the indigo colored thread for at least six months? Who's with me?

Was wondering if they were...question still stands...where the hell are they??? I got the BlackXAqua in too large of a size and had to sell 'em...really want them back. I picked up the N&F green wefts to fill the void but they're way too green of a denim.

I'm wearing them in the Minneapolis airport today where they seem to have put the peanuts theme on repeat in the shop across from the gate. Gonna be fun to listen to that through the next 90 minutes of layover.
