@david two more shirts released at the $109 price point. i started laughing as soon as i saw that. I think the common thread there (yuck, yuck) is still the fact that all the $109 button-downs involve indigo dye, rather than this being a new price point for all shirts across the board.

From the Gustin's email this morning, it seems that T-shirts are on their way soon.

Same, though I have a hard time paying any sort of a premium for a t-shirt as well As long as I don't read something like this in the description, I would not lose my mind. "..... T-shirts in this material and quality are typically at $75 to $150. With our model, you can have it cheaper ......"

If they are more than $20 I'd say no go on the tee's.

If they are more than $20 I'd say no go on the tee's. Based on the way how Gustin priced its products, my guess is $25 and up. I just did a quick research on all the T-shirt brands being discussed here and Styleforum. I think Gustin will pretty much look at the same brands and price their t-shirts similar or 10% cheaper to those brands. The brands I am looking at are Taylor Stitch, Good Wear, Left Field, Flint and Tinder and couple others. Also, the G model doesn't work if the item is less than $20 because it doesn't allow combine shipping.

Their model is supposed to result in lower production costs, and therefore lower acquisition cost for the customer. They're going to "compare to" shirts in the $45 range, I would think, which should drop them around 25, I'd guess.

Lately, I have a feeling G is based its price on supply/demand than its production cost. My guess is around the same price range as yours too.

Ha, no chance on backing a t-shirt. I can do that for something kind of esoteric like a selvedge Zimbabwe cotton work shirt or $80 black selvedge cone denim, but a t-shirt? They're a staple in my wardrobe, but I tend to buy $8-$15 shirts from Target or Banana Republic, wear them until they look shabby, rotate them to yard duty and finally cut them into rags. T-shirts are not heirloom items.

It looks like the Gustin stock page put up another denim grab bag. Too bad there's nothing in my bean-pole size.

Yeah, it looks like they just rounded up all of the denim that's been hanging out in the stock store for a while and put them into the grab bag. I wonder if that means that they have another batch of denim to go on the stock store soon, or if that's it until after Christmas...

I like the look of those herringbone flannels. I really wish Gustin would change their shirt template. Or offer a second style.

They had a 30 slim for a little while, but I couldn't bring myself to drop $140-whatever on them. I am curious about those Zimbs, and the Zimb 18s

I have a $100+ hoodie, I don't think it's out of the question. I'm actually tempted by the whiteXindigo hb shirt even at that price.

T shirts won't be lower than $40. It's a T-shirt not a suit. Paying a premium is insane. Hey have a short life span and get rotated out fast. Find a brand that fits and bingo there you go.

Nice. I wear mostly v-neck for blank t's and crew neck for graphic t's. This look awesome but would love to see the fit.

If they are more than $20 I'd say no go on the tee's. Absolutely. Everlane and Buck Mason's t-shirts means it's tricky for most mid-tier brands to charge more than $25 for plain t-shirts.
