They've come up in the past, but I don't think there's a thread, sorry if my search was ineffective and one exists.
This is another brand that started on Kickstarter making underwear, and has grown into a brand that provides all sorts of basics and clothing, all American made, and if I'm not mistaken, American sourced.

They just released this on a new campaign, the Triborough Field Jacket. Looks to be pretty cool as a modernized M65, great price, but I'm not hot on the color choices.

I bought something like 10 pairs of their underwear on a labor day sale where they were around $4/ea shipped. Great fit and quality construction on them so far.

I don't think anyone would be disappointed with them, but can't say for sure that they're the best value since I haven't tried meundies and they seem to get good reviews.

that jacket is not my style at all.
I'm not impressed by Flint and Tinder. They are a bit gimmicky, the quality isn't that great (yes, MeUndies boxer briefs are way better than F and T) and they seem way overpriced. They seem like an overpriced version of Kohls, Target, etc...No real style to their products IMO and I feel like I'mpaying for way too much gimmicky packaging.
I ordered a pair of their boxer briefs and I swear it felt like I paid for 15.00 worth of packaging. There was this paper pamphlet in there that unfolded six times like a map that boasted how its all made in the USA. etc....there was even a freakin "free" bar of soap in there. It was so much packaging that by the time I was done looking at everything I had forgotten what I actually ordered...then I was like "oh yeah, my underwear"...lol

I'm in need of kicking round the house type tshirts. Just got two of their pocket v necks. I like them a lot. Soft, not too big or too tight, but Ickes is dead on with the packaging. These two t shirts came in a box the same size as a pair of cabella hunting boots I recently picked up. My wife said 'whoa! What'd you buy!?' tshirts.

It's not unsanforized. It's the exact same fabric as the Gustin #24 Slate. Trust me, I have them both. This latest run is longer for taller people, and if my kickstarter pair are any indication, they come in giant in the waist. (I can't keep the 34 up, and they'd look like I was wearing a much larger mans pants with a belt. They didn't offer 33 and said they didn't vanity size, which I foolishly believed.) It's a sweet fabric, though, and if you've given up on Gustin ever making them in contrast thread again, they might be your best bet.

Seriously, though, I don't know why it says unsanforized on the campaign. It's literally the exact same fabric. I think they might be confusing Raw with Unsanforized. Which says quite a bit. If they thought it was unsanforized that might explain the giant pants I received.

Thanks exophobe. Not unsanforized makes sense. It's too bad your pants came in big. I read in their sizing guide, they measure waist similar to LD but not the tag size. If your natural waist sits between 33-34, they recommend getting tag 32. How would you place the sizing in terms of Gustin?

If your natural waist sits between 33-34, they recommend getting tag 32. How would you place the sizing in terms of Gustin? I believe how it worked out is that they said it was true to size, so I measured my waist and didn't fit in the 32 range. I would take the fit guide, and read it like the Gustin fit guide regardless of what they say about true waist. My impression of the F&T is that they were a little bit roomier, and then I got to the waist where they were a lot bit roomier. If you go slim, I'd say it's likely somewhere between the G Slim and Straight. For example, after a warm wash and hang dry, the waist (using Gustin style) measures 18.25 across. I might warm wash and then medium tumble dry to see if I can get them to fit me. As a comparison, they're not build quite to the standard of a good pair of Gustin. They don't have the waistband-tucked belt loops, the coin pocket has the selvedge ID across the top which isn't bad but I prefer the normal folded seam on the coin pocket. They're still great jeans, though.

I don't wanna download whatever that is. There's a fit guide on the Kickstarter campaign, but I don't know if he's adjusted it since. If I had ordered 32 like I knew I should have, I think they would have been great.

so I was just saying yesterday over in the Gustin forum how their fabrics are so effin cool and more unique than most brands out there, and then I see Flint and Tinder dropped a shirt today that actually catches my eye. I'm not as giddy over it as I am over a lot of the G shirts, but I am thinking about backing this one; www.flintandtinderusa.com/prefund/8oz-two-blue-twillHow do the F and T shirts fit? Looking for some input on what size to wear. I am an XL classic in G button downs and a 42 in Taylor Stitch.

I grabbed the Pendleton wool one and a few of their old oxfords (for $20/ea) and I wear a L in F&T. I wear a Slim G shirt and 42 TS. 16.5 x 36 slim or extra slim in most dress shirts. Fit is much better than G Slim for me, shoulders are slightly broader, chest is tighter and waist is much trimmer. Length is about equal in total but has much less cutout on the sides.

That sounds pretty good for me, actually. But why the eff do they not give you any sort of fit guide for anything they make? That just aggravates the living shit out of me.

Harumph. They should put a link to that at the TOP of the page, or better yet right next to the dropdown box to choose your size, where A NORMAL PERSON WOULD LOOK FOR IT.

Actually, it's one of my pet-peaves. Almost every clothing site I visit hides this with some innocuous little link somewhere as opposed to say NEXT TO THE "CHOOSE YOUR SIZE" dropdown...
