I ordered Oni-288ZR, not washed from Frisbee at Rakuten and they have a strange 4 step procedure and each step takes a day.
[STEP1] (Today)
Thanks-mail Sending
[STEP2] (The second day)
Delivery cost decision.
[STEP3] (The third day) (FRISBEE)
*The credit card is authorized.
[STEP4] (The fourth day) (FRISBEE)
*Commodity shipment.
I'm wondering why they can't do all the steps in the same day like Rodeo Bros.
And yes, I'm impatient.

I'm impressed with my purchase from Rhino at Rakuten. About 12 hours from order to despatch, including the various emails.
And now I see that my package is in the UK, only 2 days after despatch. I should have it by the end of the week. That's about half the time Gustin and Ciano took.

I have felt like the "other guy" is in bizarro universe.
Online shopping is normally a very impersonal transaction, and that is okay but a small company lives and dies on their reputation. The personal touches, along with a great product at a fair price will only gain Rodeo Bros more business.

Haven't seen any fabrics that really stand out to me,as I'm not big on Indigo denim or faders, but I'm definitely roving around looking to jump in as well. You guys are doing a great job of selling the quality of workmanship and salesmanship of the companies.
Funny how it used to be an important point to be made in America, but now that the overseas companies are really showing up the American manufacturers, it's becoming more of a gimmick for a company to put that in their advertisements.

I've just ordered the IHSH-07 shirt from Vari. The only thing is that their site advertises both free and flat rate shipping, so of course I got charged the flat rate of 2,200 yen.
I now need to wait for the confirmation email which should have the tax reduction, then I'm good to go.
Getting delivery within a week of ordering is such a novelty now.

My expectations are so low right now that anybody who can hit a promise date wins repeat business. Add to that the strengthening dollar and the cost differential between locally sourced/crowdsourced versus foreign is closing rapidly.. I'm still pulling for our friends at G and LD, but the value advantage is shrinking. |

$250 for the 25ox from Vari. They offer two shipping options and you have to manually select free shipping (items over 20,000¥)
A long time ago I had a thread if Gustin was still a good deal. I was on the fence then now I'm off it. Gustin is not a great deal on a majority of items.

wdw, I ordered from vari once. Everything turned out fine but they weren't as fast as Rodeo Bros and the shirt wasn't packaged as well.

Rodeo Bros was the shit! I loved those guys. This is my first Vari order so we Will see how they are. Don't get me wrong, the vari order was fine - it's just that my multiple orders with Rodeo Bros have been perfect. Really fast shipping, email follow up to see if the package arrived, handwritten note (one even mentioned how it was probably colder in Canada than Japan), and excellent packaging. It's funny how small things add up. When I ordered my IH jeans, both vari and Rodeo had them. For me, it was a no-brainer to order from Rodeo. Two things that really, really matter to me are exceptional CS and attention to detail - both of which Rodeo seem to understand. |

Just talked to Vari shop about chain stitching. They do not offer hemming for IH 25oz jeans. Not sure which they will and will not.

Buzz Rickson's N-1. It's the dearer "demotexed" version, whatever that means. Ordered Sunday, delivered half way around the world on Friday. 
I like this a lot, and can see me wearing it more than I was expecting.
