Here are some new pics and review of my Lawless Western/Montana shirt. It was ordered from old website before the recent newest size chart and website pics/description. Overall it should be the same as what you would order now. Will update if it is not the case. This is a slim small in size. 14 oz. Kaihara Indigo over Indigo Selvedge Denim mens-size:small thread-color: White, button-snaps: Tiger Eye, pocket-lining: Black & White Stripes I have wanted a heavy selvedge indigo shirt with snaps and contrast stitching for a while and was happy when this arrived. I knew the white stitching would be a bold move. I could have went with the normal copper color but wanted to go a little crazy as I had seen leather jackets with white stitching and thought they looked great. There are also western shirts with stock white stitching. My shirt does stand out and I wouldn't wear it to church or anywhere conservative. I get to wear what I want to work from Metallica T-shirts, along with many other bands, to dress shirts and everything in between so this will fit in there. I will preface by saying I have an Iron Heart 16oz Super Black SS Western Shirt so I am used to a thick shirt. It borders on being a jacket. The Indigo/Indigo Kaihara is similar in feel as it does have some crunchiness to it. It is a nice thick substantial material but i think it feels great. There is some puffiness in the pics but it will loosen up with wear and drape better. The fabric was exactly what I was hoping for. The color is beautiful, it is very dark and looks almost black until you put it against something black.I have put it next to my IH black shirt in pics for comparison. I am wearing my Gustin Black2 jeans here also. I believe the material will look amazing with some fades in a year or so. The design looks great and workmanship is flawless as far as I can see. The stitching and cutting looks straight and very strong. Anything that looks misaligned just looks that way in picture. I noticed my IH shirt pockets look crooked in pictures. I like the design of the collar and I can button the chinstrap but will probably wear it open unless trying to keep warm. I love the double cuff snap option. You can see the selvedge line inside. My watch fits under the cuffs without any problems. The snaps seem to be a good quality and I like the tiger eye I picked. The front pockets are nice and even though no one will see the black/white striped lining it is a cool feature. I will show it off to people. The flaps function perfectly and are not bulky feeling. I can't think of one thing to complain about. If the pockets were long enough to fit an average Iphone/Droid size that would be a plus but could maybe make the pocket look too long. Not sure about this. My IH shirt doesn't fit one either. Sizing is very important as most of us will not wear something with a bad fit. I do like a slim fit for my shirts. The shoulders, chest, arms and waist are spot on. So happy for that. I do wear most of my shirts tucked so I like an untucked shirt to be on the shorter size. A shirt this thick needs to be untucked in my opinion. This shirt is a little too long for my taste. I know many would be happy with the length. I will probably see what a warm soak will do but I could lose 1.5" on the front and 2.5" in the back. Overall this shirt is amazing regardless of price but with the actual price figured in the best deal out there. Thanks Lawless!! Great job. I have included a link with more detailed pictures. s258.photobucket.com/user/Ianthomasphotos/library/Lawless%20Western%20ShirtThe color is hard to capture but I think these are close to in person. Thank you for taking the time to review your shirt. I'm glad to hear you liked it.

Dirty I wanted to fix the IH pocket but didn't want to over step my boundaries. We can add that to our hemming service we are going to start offering

I just want to put this out there. Our shirts are going to come in shorter than that shirt. We used a specific shirts measurements given to us to make that. So if you have thoughts of ours being to long do not fret my friends.

Winterland, mind to tell me how tall you are? I ordered my shirt with the exact same fabric and same style in medium slim but black out. 5'9" 138lbs in my birthday suit. I am very lean right now been on a cut working out. 38 measured chest and 30-31 waist depending on where I measure. The shirt was a custom order but is closest to a slim small of chart now. I did specify the length of the shirt and of course come to realize I was off. Going to go shorter in the future. Length of shirt front now is 23 3/4"-24 Back 27 3/4"-28 depending on where exactly I am measuring. 40" chest. 37" waist. You will love this shirt design. So you ordered black stitching and snaps? Will look great. I keep liking mine more and more. Almost wore to church today. Added some new smileys yesterday.

This fabric as well as the candiani IxI both will sew up quite stiff. With that said they will give the wearer the impression that the shirt feels boxy. After some wear or a soak it will settle just like any denim would

Winterland How does the snaps feel? Are they good quality? I had snaps in the 80`s and am longing to begin wearing it again. It is so crazy, I went by a really expensive botique where I buy suits and sportsjackets, and I mean the nice shit like linen sportsjacket, tiger, hugo, gant and all snobb things. And f me gentle from behind, but dont you think they are doing snap-button shirts now! Its like the ultra newest most modern thing. $500 shirts with snaps. I was like: -yeah baby im so modern! but its so sad because they get so poor quality fabric. im pumped and cant wait for mine!

I also want to say that my cone peach.id are super mega overdyed with indigo. I thought I had white leather seats in the car but it turns out atleast one is blue? lol. I had to soak them yet again and there was no change in the blue coming out. Its like and endless source of bluecolor!! They almost look no different after this and they are back to being stiff to stand up on its own. Im just gonna have to murder these jeans with fades!!

Mine as well except i haven't washed em yet so my plan to paint the town indigo is working. Thats the sample pair i got while in the shop this past week. I even got em un finished at the hems so they look like a pair of slacks that havent been hemmed yet. For some reason it makes me like them even more

As others have pointed out you see actors in commercials wearing denim work shirts now. The snaps seem great quality as far as I can tell. They look nice. They are a different style than the IH. Neither feels any stronger. Time will tell. Found some pics that look close. The IH look like this except colored. The Lawless like this.

YEs the Lawless buttons are good to go. I touched everything in the shop including all the buttons and thread. I treated my trip last week like a field trip. At night right before midnight I would walk around the shop getting into every thing. I would stay up till 2 or 3 am trying to get a feel for what Lawless is putting out there. Everything looks great from what I saw and if it didn't we fixed it, and its that easy to resolve things for us. I think we have a pretty great product coming to you guys and the rest of the denim community. SO enjoy what you are about to get and look forward to us getting even better. I also wanted to tell you guys about what Roman's employees do 2 times a day. In the morning around 730ish-8 the workers start coming in. They will start their day working on whatever they need to finish or get started. After a few hours of work, roman will walk to the back and say "I'm Hungry what are we eating? One of the sewers will get up and chef up an amazing breakfast. We all make our way towards this long table to sit a break bread together all on Romans dime. At lunch we do it all over again. This is good for company morale as we get a chance to discuss whatever is going on in our lives or to break down what is on the docket in the shop. They don't have to worry about buying food while they are there because Roman takes care of it. Another amazing thing he does for them was a shock to many of them as they have never had a sew shop do this for them. During one of our morning meetings before we get started, a sewer asked Roman if she could work on Thanksgiving and on Xmas so she could make extra cash for her family. Roman said "Oh you get paid for those days anyway so stay home with your family" I mean i know this as a pretty common occurrence as an American worker but this woman has worked in factories in her native country and in factories here in America and has never been told she gets paid even when she is not working during a holiday. I looked at her face and saw she wanted to cry. It made me feel good knowing she can stay home with her family but be comfortable knowing she is not losing a payday.

Winterland We use YKK for zippers, hardware & snaps. IH also uses YKK. Our shirt buttons are made to our specs. and are custom dyed.

I have had my jeans for 6 days now and worn everyday. These are now my favourite pair in terms of fit. They hold their shape pretty good to my body (but yes I have done 2 soaks that has helped with that) and I dont seem to need to pull up the pants as much as Im used to.
Feels like a real solid pair of jeans and the future looks promising.

The way the rise and pockets are situated really helps with that area. Def a key thing I look for when I buy jeans. I have owned many many Japanese brands and they never ever get the ass part right. Not a joke but they just do not get it. For some reason Japanese brands like to make the back droopy or make the jean flatten ur ass. This is one of the reason why I do not buy Japanese branded jeans anymore

Just received my free pair-17 oz indigo slubs- 34 waist and a 30.75 length in slim straight (I wear a 33 slim in G). Only one issue which I'll get out of the way early. I chose egyptian topaz thread which turns out is a lot more yellow that I expected (my fault). I chose silver hardware but brass was used for some reason. Don't love the color but I'll live with it.
They fit like a glove - in fact better than my G's according to my wife and me. They are constructed to perfection and I absolutely love them. Can't wait until my other 2 pairs arrive.
My recommendation is to BUY LD jeans and don't think twice! Thanks Roman!

If you can, would love to see some pictures of the jeans since mine has the same exact fabric.

It's up in the top left corner of your create post screen.
