Jumped on the sale, why not...went with 18.5oz and the slub japan over the blue italian. Figured I'd take these two fro the price of the gustin greenline. Hoping the swatches are what I'm expecting.

Just let you guys know that I truly believe I am the first person ever being kick out from the Gustin Community. Not saying I am proud of it but I would rather speak my mind than sidestepping the Gustin issues.

I deleted it, and will ask @wils to delete his post where he quoted me, so that it will disappear. I took the comments on the other forums personally, and should have considered the source. Anybody have store credit in here? I do, but I can't find the darn credit to save my life right now. Am I blind? And with the clock ticking down on this 50% deal, I'm hoping to be able to pull the trigger to get a couple pairs of jeans for my wifey!

I think you can claim the distinction of being the first confirmed case of retaliatory exclusion (I can even point out which post probably got you banned!), but I think Gustin's had at least one other cull of rabblerousers in the past. I respect them for limiting their jurisdiction to the Gustin forums, but think they should be treating the forum like a good beer culture.. just let it become what it's going to become. The community typically polices itself.. the only reason I can see that they might interfere is if they were insecure about something. |

Well, if you want one of us can probably start a "Gustin community feed", that thing has been pretty well killed. I still love my Gustin clothing, I still like what they're doing, but I like what's become of this community better, and i think it really worked out better for all of us. |

It's a completely new site, so the old stuff is something they're still working on integrating, but they do have access to the old information. |

One more note regarding the G community . . . you used to be able to search it via google, but i just tried to find an older post of mine through google, and nothing showed up. Why? The community link just disappeared from the site two days ago. I was actually on the site at the time when they disabled my access to the community. Suddenly, I got log out for no reason and when I logged back in, the community link was gone. I thought it maybe a system issue but well, the link never comes back. |
