Thanks @untucked. I honestly didn't realize how much stuff I have on order until I typed it out just now. I'm thinking I might cop a Utility jacket also while the sale is still going on...but not sure yet

I wonder how many orders those assholes over at /r/ made. I can't believe the reception my post got. agree bugula, I got the same over at style forums ...then, when I posted an apology, they deleted it. There was one nice comment on the fit of my jeans, but the rest we're just rude as hell. I understand there are some nice folks there, but on the whole...a bunch of jerks. A few said they we're going to order some chinos, all the while talking shit. I'll never post anything there again. Oh well, if Roman made a few sales, and the jerks like the chinos, and tell the other jerks, it was worth it EDIT: Thank you again Winterland for setting this forum up, I'd rather be here with you guys than on either of those forums It is almost like a religious on Styleforum and Reddit. They are just clothes....

I got a bit too excited and ordered my first Workshirt in the Kaihara Grey. I just realized today that it has silver fibers in it and is reflective (this terrifies me a bit). I've really got to pay better attention when spending money... I do wish they had more lightweight (10oz. or under) fabrics for the shirts. The workshirt was what I was most excited about. At least I scored two pairs of jeans that I will like. I ordered the same, but am ok with the idea of the silvery threads.. as long as they're kind'a just running through in a wabisabi kind'a way and not like I'm wearing some 3M reflective gear. Question for any of the Lawless folk.. the name of the fabric has the word selvage in it, but in the description it says "none" next to selvage.. which is correct?

Dudes, look at it from a consumer standpoint. If you ordered from a company that you have never ordered from, got billed, and then went to that site a few weeks later and the site was GONE, what would you think? There were no e-mails, nothing. It all seems a bit hap-hazzard to say the least. I'm sure LD means well, but I can see how people are questioning it.

I think the kaihara light indigo is the same as Gustin's Jades. I have a pair of the Jades and I absolutely love them. They are a nice break from my normal dark indigo's. Interesting. I didn't get as much of the greenish cast on the Lawless swatch photos, but looking at it again now alongside the Gustin swatch photos I think you might be right. I'll be pretty psyched if that is indeed the case.

Where did it happen & what caused it to be deleted?

They've been pretty responsive to any questions and comments I've thrown their way, no matter how petty and insignificant they may be. I wonder why they aren't responding to you when you reach out to them.. that seems so out of character for Roman and Lawless. Also.. you may want to check the website.. it's not gone, it's updated.. I don't think this was disingenuous on your part, but your post on G's forum made it sound like they closed shop and bailed (at least to me). I, too, have doubts about their ability to handle the massive volume they no doubt are dealing with and am wondering how they will handle the extremely small percentage of dissatisfied, but vocal, customers that sent in idealistic, rather than realistic, measurements. One thing I can say for certain, though, is that Roman is genuinely giving it his best shot.. his best shot. I won't judge anyone for having a higher or lower threshold for skepticism than I do, but I think we gotta give him two things: 1 - A chance to do what he intends to do 2 - Props for having the balls to try to do it

I'll step aside though and let it all play out, as I am a nobody in this scenario anyway. I might even order a couple of shirts. ha ha

Man alive, it's tough to decide what to get. I've been fussing around with the items in my cart for like two hours now so maybe y'all can help me make up my mind. I dig the heavier fabrics but I'll be spending much of the next year in desert and tropical climates, so I'm thinking it's probably best to stay under 14 oz, no? I'm definitely set on a Montana shirt, I'm thinking in 12.5 oz Kaihara indigo. Pretty stoked on those royal blue shirt buttons; it's like staring into a crystal ball.
As for jeans, I keep flip-flopping between the 14 oz Kuroki indigo and the 14 oz Kaihara. I believe 3Sixteen uses 14.5 oz fabric from Kuroki for their ST-100x denim, so I've been searching around for worn-in photos of those jeans to try and get a general idea of how they'll fade, though of course to a certain extent that's virtually impossible to predict. I'm also intrigued by both of the 2x1 twill offerings (13.5 oz Kaihara and 14.5 oz Kuroki black). A 2x1 weave is suppose to be a bit more breathable than your standard 3x1, correct?

A few denim descriptions that started with a cut-n-paste need to be corrected.
Kaihara 14oz Indigo and 14oz Indigo x Indigo have the same Weft picture and both claim to be Indigo x Indigo Cone 14oz Selvedge states that it is stretch denim in the material description field (maybe it is..) Kaihara 10.5oz Grey Japanese Selvedge claims Selvedge in the material name, but says "none" in the selvedge field
There may be more, but here's what I could remember off the top of my head.

wisdom - great catch! But seeing ickes shopping list, I don't think any of those fabrics will be left to update!

Bummed I waited for the new site to order the grey Pendleton wool and blackwatch plaid since they both sold out before the new site launch. Can't wait to see what wool, flannel, and canvas options might start trickling in.

Dirty, I've probably pissed off every staff member at LD now with questions but can you guys consolidate shipping in some way? I'm shipping multiple items to UK and at 25 a pop I'm looking to lose out all the savings I've accrued with the sale! If not, I need to change to a US address and get my bro to ship for me. Yes the price is you are seeing when adding a item is correct. Right now if I were to choose to ship over seas it would cost just about $50 based on weight or $58 for a flat rate medium box. A large flat rate box will run $76. We are working on finding a cheaper way. The link below will open to the express options but if u choose the priority tab you will see the pricing. ircalc.usps.com/MailServices.aspx?country=10150&m=6&p=5&o=0&MailingDate=11/4/2014&MailingTime=8:00%20AM&dv=50# My first shopingcart said $150 for shipping and it was the only option I could choose. I had to remove 2 items. It went to $100 So this is 25 a pop no matter what, but I think there should be a stop somewhere, I mean its $200 for 8 items? I thought flatrate meant a box and then stuff it, it cant be that many box sizes? Im happy to get free freight, thats basically what the 50% off gave me, but I cant go crazy ordering bc $150 is $150 no matter what. I really hope the items will ship separately?

Homies, so I hope Roman is pleased with my strategy for dealing with this, but sign up to Stackry, which is a free locker in NH that you ship your Lawless stuff to for 5 bucks a pop. Stackry consolidates your stuff (2 bucks per item) and ships as ONE shipment. They also 'deal' with invoices, if you know what I'm saying, allowing you to declare value as you see fit in your 'comments' to them. I just shipped 3 Gustin shirts and a threepack of natural deodorant (don't ask) for 35 bucks US plus consolidation of 6 dollars. It takes a little longer, but it's worth it. You can choose express shipping options etc. too. Don't thank me, just buy me a pair of jeans!!

Dirty_Denim It was over at Style forums, in the sales alert thread...I understand them shitting on my jeans and Lawless, but I think it could have been done in a more constructive way. My apology may have been deleted because it was posted in same thread, possibly because off topic.

Ok but have you actually got a $100 package and it worked out without the crazy VAT charge from both item and shipping that I usually see here? I see you say you shipped it, but have you recieved it and it worked? And did you choose USPS? I have eperience with that no matter what I chose they have a deal with DHL and the likes and they take over after reaching the border, so sometimes when I choose USPS they still come to my door and charge me (or send a bill after 2 weeks in the mail). So how deep is your experience here?
I have used forwarders before like jetcarrier but it ended up costing even more.
