Not my personal favorite, but the BlackXAqua are the ones people compliment the most. My personal favorite so far is the simple Okayama Standard in slim fit, with the Loomstate on order hoping to gain the title.

Naw, just trying to make a dirty joke of sorts that was too subtle for my own good. Persimmons are delicious.

Thought I'd Bring this thread up again (thought of starting another one titled - "only positive post found here"). I totally understand why there are many complaints about Gustin, I get it, I have them myself. Not taking that away from anyone. But there is still good in Gustin! There products, there people! I think the chinos are great! (Wearing the Graphite now ) and will be backing the Army green (looks and seems like they'll make some nice work alternitive to jeans) The Okayamas, Great pair!!! Mine are fading Wicked Awesome!!! A nice vibrant Blue. BEAST!!! I feel like we have come to an agreement. I'll wear them and the BEAST won't hurt me anymore (but I don't trust them I know you guys are still wearing your Gustins, there's much to like, I wear them with pride!

I like all my pairs pretty equally, except for the Azures. After months of owning them, they haven't grown on me at all. But besides them, I love my Downtown Browns, Okayamas, Black2s, Naturals, GreyxBlacks, Grey Silks, and Ox2s. I have Summer Blues but I'm considering trashing them because I ruined them so badly (RIP Summer Blues). Because I have so many nice pairs of Gustin's, and with 5 more on the way (Super Heavies, Zimbs, Brown Organics, Raw Umbers, Cone Bluexblacks), I couldn't justify pulling the trigger on any LD denims. I still love Gustin products, still think Cody and Casey do a great job of CS, and will back Gustin, even through the hiccups (sizing off, long shipping times).

I've got enough blue jeans and can't justify backing anymore (Gustin or LD). Do you have the KingZims or the baby Zim's coming?

The OGs, not the King Zimbs nor Zimb Superlights.

The Japan GreyXGrey are the pair I continually find myself reaching for and drawn to wearing. They literally go with *everything* you might care to wear with them (in terms of both clothing and footwear).
Also really like the Heavy BlackXCoal.
The two indigos I own (Okas and HAs) are great, solid blue jeans. I like 'em both but, in all honesty, I have other pairs from other brands that are much more my go to than those.
Still trying to figure out the Downtown Browns. They're the best constructed pair I've received from Gustin (basically flawless - no weird pun intended) and came in almost exactly on spec for 33Slim. However, they aren't as brown as I thought they'd be. If anything, I'd actually call them deep khaki. Other than black jackets and boots, I'm struggling with what to wear with them - as I fear any attempt at brown boots and jackets will result in entire evenings spent answering the question, 'Why have you dressed as Indiana Jones?'

I think the most value in pants from Gustion for me is:
Loomstate - theese are expensive other places, and the gustins are beautiful.
Okayamas - They are in another league imho, very very crisp, clean and nice, just perfect!
Herringbones - Also just imackulate!
Chinos - To me, these are still the cheapest chinos of this quality I know of. Better then RRL!! (maybe not as substantial or longlasting, but definately more classy looking!

Also really like the Heavy BlackXCoal. i like my heavy blackxcoal much more than i expected. i initially got them to replace the blackxblack that i sold (and didn't really like). i wanted a saturated black denim, and thought the weight and slightly contrasting weft would make them a bit more interesting. they're crazy starchy, but stretched to size faster than any other pair i've had (even beat out the greyxblack), and the the contrasting weft and bright white id look great when cuffed. i do eventually need to get them soaked and hemmed...but i'm procrastinating.

I'm in the same boat with my Grey Silks, Summerweights, and possibly one or two others. Rather than procrastinating, I choose to say I've been waiting on my next batch of four more G jeans to come in before sending a package off to AB Fits so I could save a few bucks on shipping. Of course, that strategy has backfired spectacularly since AB Fits has now done away with the G discount and is charging $15 a pair instead of $10. D'oh.

Although I like all my Gustin pairs, the hands down favorite are my Beasts. I prefer heavyweight denim, and these fit as though they were custom made for me. Once it hits 70 degrees outside though, I switch over to the under 20oz stuff.

I've got a couple pairs I was considering having taken up an inch or so. I sent 4 over at the $10 per rate about a month ago. They are the perfect fit now. I wonder if the price increase has to do with the influx of denim being sent their way? Slightly contradictory, but maybe this is tied to the pricing increase with G as well - the cost of labor must be going up in San Fran (I'm just throwing out random ideas to justify it...I have no idea why).

It's not a price increase, they stopped offering the "purchased from Gustin" discount, from my understanding.

Hi All, I'm new here, but I really like my Zimbabwe's. Something about the color (apart from the crazy bleeding first soak). I also like the Heavy Japans.

Been wearing my zimbs since September basically everyday 2hours of wear minimum. No soak or wash nothing nada. Never touched water. I noticed they do not crock at all which I was excited about. Decent fading starting. As for my favorite Gustin pair? The one I am currently wearing is my favorite. Went 8 months in the 43# left hand twills. Lighter color but they are too tight now that I've been working out my legs again ( knee injury).
