I'm not a fan of truckers (don't like the tails sticking out at the bottom look), so I'm ore into chore jackets.
Maybe a soak will shrink the length a bit.

The green one fits great. How they are supposed to fit; short, trim and flattering when properly worn.
The black one is a bit loose looking in the arms, length and shoulders/back. Guess it also depends on how you plan on wearing it. A hoodie or sweatshirt under it would help.

I think both jackets look fine, and it comes down to preference, and how you wear it.
